An incident happened to me at a supermarket where the girl/cashier was Gossiping on the phone with somebody : GIRL this, CHILD that , KEE KEE KEE, HA HA HA .... while ringing up peoples groceries. Well , Her NOT PAYING ATTENTION ... rang the dude in front of me and My groceries AS ONE !!! The dude was LOOKIN AT HER LIKE: WTF YOU DOIN, at this point i said nothing. And when she gave him the total, he let her know and she had that Dumb ass look on her face. THEN, she tried to argue with him, b4 a manager came over.
At the same time there is a scam where people come in being loud and distractive, hand over a 5 and then say the change isn't enough because they gave a 20 or a 50. The. Cause a big scene when the cashier doesn't comply.....
He said he goes in every after work. Why would she think he’s drunk? And why would he go to the same store everyday if he knows how they are? Sounds like he’s stupid

I'm going to say you're right. I've seen short changers. I've had it tried on me before when I was younger plenty of times. But their anger is always obviously synthetic. This guy is a hundred percent not in it to short change over ten bucks. He just wants to go home. Today, if the person messed up, they want to make you look like you're out of control for pointing out the obvious, which more likely then not, wasn't her trying to short change (maybe who knows today), but as he said, not paying attention to what people are given to her. I bet that drawer would put an instant end to that debacle but they don't want to count it nooo 😂
She already said she’d give him money and he’s still in “jive-ass turkey” mode. He’ll still be cussing and yelling 2 hours later watching “Sanford & Son” by himself at home eating beans and bologna.
@@kirbywaite1586 The way I was trained, if I have a beef in a store/restaurant, I talk calmly to manager. If manager doesn't see it my way, I know that once again I got hosed without lube, and I walk out, taking my L with grace, realizing that nothing could be done. Somebody yelling like that, m or f, young or old, blk or green or yeller or blue, whatever, the yelling person I'm already suspicious of. In this case, I think the yelling blk man probably had/has a case, probably a good case. He seems to be fairly confident that he's being conned, or cashier made a mistake. If I were the manager of that store, I'd check out his case thoroughly.

@@dboi4952 My observation isn't "whining"; it is a comment on Racial Inequality, and how this very often works in both directions! Why on earth would I want to use such a horrible word? I find it an extremely offensive word. This is why I struggle to understand how people who create merry hell if it is used by the non-black community, are the very same people who address each other with the "N- Word", and even create rap music filled with it! ANYONE, regardless of skin colour, and without a bigoted mindset, can surely see prejudice when it rears it's ugly head ?! Sadly, as my observation proves, Racism still exists from ALL sides. My buddy worked at a store and there was a guy who was known for doing this ...he would say they cheated him and argue , cause hell and just grab a pack of smokes or something as he was leaving to "Make up for what they owe him"
I did retail clerks, high paying union job in 1970's ,and never had to deal with this crap. I'd close on the penny EVERY night. Had ONE counterfeit 20 and caught it. Great customers, even in sketchy areas like La Puente, South El Monte, and always everyone so chill, even with long lines for cold beer when it was 100 degrees out. I couldn't work retail today anywhere.

Since the customer is black and the cashier is white I'm siding with the customer. If the cashier was the black guy and the customer was the white woman I would say somebody come get Karen lol
