It is a stereotype thought that women can't repair things, men are more tech savy than women...I think you are only considering ' glamorous models or fashion concious ladies as women , no offence to them.... But there are women like us who are tech savy and can repair things efficiently... In my home we both are equally efficient in technical things....But most of the time I do it.

When I bought my scooty, before learning to drive it I asked how to maintain it if anything goes wrong.i am the one who always help my father in doing fixing repairing work . Time is changing it should. It's a no excuse girls that man r doing it for a long time. Teach us and we can do it too

May be in general but I love fixing electric things by myself and fix mostly all the home appliances and even sometimes electricity issues myself. If I don't know then I try to learn from youtube and then do it.

Since I was 5yrs I saw n learnt in just one look. I started dismantling things including electronic items n use to mend and fix them back as well I used to fix issues. Including here n there wiring work n giving connection, connecting tube light wires n resolving issues with it as well as fan issues both standing and ceiling fan. Changing switches, making extension, repairing remotes, mixer, watch etc etc etc it's endless n am not dependent on my brother's or anyone to do all this, but there are dependent on me for doing all this instead them trying to do it or taking or asking electrician or mechanic to do it.

To be very honest In my home that's me who do this all stuff like changing the bulb apr reset the password Like I have an elder brother But whenever you know mobile related aor lighting the house during diwali It's me Any thing happened my mother father brother all will call me And if its leakage problem electricity problem it's my mother who will call somebody because my father is at duty and even he is at home he don't do these stuff because he don't know whom to call 😂😂
