Hi Mark, interested to know how the tracks effect the sunroof air flow if you had it opened.. does it create buffering noise?

Only buffering was when the RTT was on, the wind channeled its way under the RTT, couldn’t drive with it open, now is much better, limited buffering, there is JUST enough room to crack it open.

Great set up on the rack. Maybe I missed it, but what "goodies" are you now storing in the original spare tire location? I'm trying to put together a list of repair parts for the L322 that may minor but can stop the vehicle if they fail. Obviously it is not convenient to move the rear storage system to access the spare tire cavity, but for the truly rare emergency parts that you want to carry it seems like a good spot.

Nothing in there, can’t get in there quickly, well, I can get in there in 20 mins, but moving the spare means I don’t need to pull things out. I have a tool kit and service items in the peli box, filters, oil, ATF etc up there

@@Overlanding4WD I always thought it might be a good place for a water tank? low down weight and have a pipe to refill and a pump to get it out as it were? assume now the wheel is on the roof you will go to a full size spare so you can just crack on if you have a puncture on a trip and not have to find a repair shop etc.

TBH. Not sure it’s big enough and you’d need a bladder type back there, to foam to the space, also, the EAS compressor is under there too. Maybe go larger wheel and tyre combo, but, happy with spare for now.

Honest questions - doesn't the RR spare wheel live underneath the car normally? If so, minus the spare wheel (which doesn't need to go on top of your rack), I have got exactly the same volumetric load carrying capability with my Thule roof bars and Kamei roof box as you have with your rack. But my roof bars weigh 5kg total. I don't get heavy aftermarket racks at all : (

Not on the L322 RR. The RR Sport has the spare underneath. There is a wheel well in the rear loadspace for the spare.
