Congrats on your bison score. Very, very nice boots you have there and the brown wedge is absolutely the correct color for that peanut bison. My boss ordered a pair exactly like yours just a few months ago on a limited run of peanut bison. I'll share this video so he will know what his will look like b/c his specs are almost exactly like yours, iirc. Great combo, he will be reassured. I have 2 pairs of wedge-soled 6" boots from Nicks - a 64 Tan Moc Toe w/ sand wedge and a C8CXL Americana on black wedge. They are my top 2 favorite pairs, hands down. That wedge is so light and takes all the harshness out of every foot fall, but the build quality is so damn solid.

I'm on thr fence about ordering those mocks with those wedge soles. Over the last 7 months have you noticed they last longer than the standard vibram christy soles? I'm only getting 5 months out of my Christy soles on my jk boots. I really like my nicks hardwear boots I bought and want to order nicks mocks next.
These are the exact boots I have been looking for but would like them in brown. How would I request these boots from Nicks (they don't have to be Bison if it's not available). Just trying to determine the style, etc. Are they just called Moc toe boots with a Wedge Sole? I ordered some other appts from them several months ago but still have not gotten them yet so I am not sure about the styles and fit. But these look more like what I was wanting.
