Out of the worlds anthems this country's anthem has the best melody. It's not even a question. It seriously makes you feel good and I'm not even from NZ.

This is the way an anthem is meant to be sung. All together and without unnecessary music

Who else in not from New Zealand but knows the lyrics to this National Anthem. This has be one of the best National Anthems in the world, if not the best. Love Kiwi's, from a South African.

I am a full-blood Kiwi living in UK now. 10 things good about being Kiwi: 1: When people call you New Zealandish. 2: You get to brag when The All Blacks obliterate England. 3: People Try to do the Haka. 4: They try to do Kiwi accent but sound like Aussies. 5: They try to say Maori words like Haere Ra and sound stupid. 6: They ask where is New Zealand. 7: I'm just talking like a normal Kiwi then people attempt to talk like me "Hey look at me guys I can talk New Zealandish Oh I'm really cool" When they are really bad at it. 8: I feel good being a Kiwi, Here in Britain, Everyone is closed off and very formal, Hard to make friends. 9: When you play a Kiwi advert to the class and they don't get it but you're the only one that understands it. 10: Everyone compliments our National Anthem and Haka.

I'm a proud Australian but the NZ anthem has always been such a beautiful song with such a great melody and the fact that it incorporates the Maori language makes it all the more beautiful, so much better than our own there's no denying it for me personally.
