Nick, I've been digging your music recently. Are you open to a marketer's tip if it would bring you more sales? (Free, but probably worth a lot.) From a listener's side of things, one hears a piece they like, such as with me just now after listening to "Fear Had Him By the Throat". Then when we go to the website, we're not clear about what songs are on each album- because it doesn't say. Maybe it's there somewhere, but if it is, it wasn't clear to me. People often buy an album because there are one or more songs on it that they like. If they don't know which album that's on, they are more likely to leave because they don't know what they are getting or how to get the song they want. They might be able to research it, but most won't and buying happens more if it's made EASY for them. As a buyer, how often would you purchase without knowing what you're getting? That question is not intended to insult- only to help. It's also an easy thing to overlook, yet from the listener's side they are asked to "add to cart" without knowing which songs. That's cuts your sales down by a big percentage. Thanks for listening if you were open because I want you to do well, and I make the phone ring for a lot of mostly local businesses by online means so I have experience behind my words. Thanks for sharing your music! Perhaps I'll visit your website again soon.

Ive heard this one 100 times now and my eyes still get watery in awe of the genius. I am humbled and astounded by his humility and restraint. One can only aspire to be more like him while never getting close.

I say it every time, but that's how I feel - everything Nick is doing is so unmistakably him. Melodies, technique, harmonies - you can recognize him from very first licks. It's fantastic how consistent he is with his sound and feel, and yet the music is fresh every time.
I have to say that I haven’t come across such a tasteful bit of playing since I first heard Guthrie Govan’s Fives! I love how Nick leaves plenty of room in his playing instead of constant flurries of notes. And Canadian to boot!

that strained note at 3.30 is incredible. really impressed with this. have been listening to guitar players for over 30 years and this is right up there with the best. this persuaded me to get the album. really looking forward to seeing you in Southampton soon.
Scott Pritchard Been recording music for over forty years. Nick is as good as it gets when it comes to perfect pitch, timing, volume. Better than Clapton,Satriani,Malmsteen. Should be on world tour with other musicians.
Well I'll be damned, I never thought you'd make a song I like more than "Even If It Takes A Life Time" but you absolutely killed it with this one. Really great song, with an amazing amount of emotion. Your songs always tell a story that really draws me in. This new album was killer and the addition of Piano was great choice!

interesting. my first instinct was to count it as 8/8 6/8 8/8 8/8. it adds up to 30 eigth notes, and the way you counted it also adds up to 30. i will admit this though, i can hear the phrases evenly spaced one by one when i count it as 7/8 7/8 7/8 9/8, basically what i hear is each 7/8 bar as their own small idea and the 9/8 as a seperate idea that adds contrast. but, i can hear the phrases evenly spaced out in twos when i count it as 8/8 6/8 8/8 8/8. basically, it sounds (to me) like 8/8 and 6/8 is one idea or one phrase and the other two 8/8 are a seperate phrase. and after that a reapeat and then 4 more 8/8 measures and then a piano contrast. Anyway, whoo cares ahaha im satisfied as long as i can play it ahhaha (:
try this one, its pretty smooth. 7/8, 7/8, 8/8, 4/4. i like this one the most. i think it sounds more solid since he plays a note on every first down beat.
