Ironically the funniest part is that Adam 100% knew exactly what was happening with the Houthis but no one started talking about it so he couldn’t cut them off to say he actually knew all about it.
He finally found the one thing that he couldn’t literally just advertise into popularity with that (which is why his stupid crowd work videos blew up, he made them ads on instagram). Those ravens videos were so horrifically unfunny that they were getting like 1/5 of the views of his other videos lmao.
This is the kind of story that can spawn infinite cumtown bits. Baltimore accent riffs. Captain philips, african guy voice. But instead we get a good premise (fat stav - classic) that got kneecapped immediately. I love it.
Adam just can't help himself.. I'm constantly thinking "dude, just play along with nicks dumb idea" but he always has to take everything too serious and try to put a logical spin on it.. which is pretty much the opposite of what nicks trying to do so it just derails the whole thing haha
@@derektaylor2859 Absolutely. It's silly but I can't help being like a backseat driver listening to these eps. Like "Adam, play along, don't interrupt here, just say something funny, etc." You can even notice him catching himself specifically on interrupting, which is good, but then he'll do that weird logical depreciation shit which is annoying and beyond unfunny.
I tolerate him because Nick is so great but seriously.. he for real might be one of the least funny people of all time and absolutely unable to riff and has proven so time and time again
It's impressive how bad Adam is at doing riffs after all this time. Made no effort to learn anything. Maybe Nick and Jordan should do the podcast and then they can just invite Adam on to do the occasional interview.

Remember when Nick and Stav got into the huge argument when he blamed being morbidly obese on getting into a fight with his dad the previous year? Nick said Stav was morbidly obese and Stav kept saying he was regular obese. Turns out that not only was Stav objectively morbidly obese (stage 3), but so fat that he’s actually now stage 4 obese which was only created last year lmao. He’s now beyond morbidly obese. Stage 4 is the highest it goes by the way.
It’s honestly sad. I really do believe that Nick had simply had enough of watching his friend lie to himself and just continue down this horribly self destructive path. You can tell he loves Stav. A brother he never had. Wants him to be proactive about it. And now fast forward…. the guy isn’t getting any better, but worse. And it’s effecting federal infrastructure now!

Dude it's insane. Adam genuinely can't be funny with Nick, I don't get it. I loved the Jordan episode with Adam, absolutely love her eps with Nick, but Adam just has to pretend to sad boy it up with Nick or whatever tf he think he's doing and it sucks ass
It's not just that Adam doesn't laugh at Nick's jokes. He also doesn't let them breathe. Go to 0:30. Half a second after Nick finishes the joke, Adam starts stammering through a question that isn't even funny. Come on man

It's sad cause some of my favorite cumtown episodes were ones with just nick and adam, it was a chill vibe and still funny. I still like tafs but man I hope it gets better
The best we got from Cumtown was the energy seen between Nick and Stav. The riffs were impeccable, and Stav would almost always encourage Nick to push it forward into more creative, comedic territory. It was a pro-active encouraging relationship. Adam is a comedic punching bag. That's it.
Even if Stav comes back now it won't be the same. Money has changed all of them so much. Good for them but yeah the highs of CT cannot be touched by TAFS
On a few of Stav's podcasts recently he's brought up cumtown and that he sometimes listens to old bits and laughs his ass off so hopefully we at least get him on tafs or better yet, Nick on Stavys world

Its frustrating that a low effort, semen based podcast will be the hallmark of Mullen's comedy career, but its almost worth it to watch a bunch of dorks try to offer career advice in the comments section.

@@ryantornai945 People talk abt Adam still being unable to riff after all these years, which is true, but understate just how far Nick has fallen. Adam brought up the Jewish tunnels in NYC a few months back and Nick had no energy to do anything with it
