It hits me especially hard because of the line "And if you can't tell I'm scared as hell cause I can't get you on the telephone" - one time when I (kind of) overdosed a friend called me and I didn't answer. It was in February 2018 and since then I always have to think about that when I'm hearing this song. Argh Also the part "Stop thinking about the easy way out // there's no need to go and blow the candle out // because you're not done, you're far too young, and the best is yet to come" .... always makes me reconsider when I'm thinking about ending it all

Unfortunately, no. Even though MCR are ridiculously talented musicians, they're just not my cup of tea. Full transparency, the only reason I was at the Nickleback concert was because I was invited and gifted the ticket. I did attend the TOOL concert on Jan 27th here in Denver. I was absolutely blown away! I've been to every tool concert in Denver since 1998 on their Aenima tour (Red Rocks!!!) And they have never ceased to amaze, entertainment and enlighten my mind, body & spirit. What a fucking incredible band! Always #1 on my list! And you know what? I just realized that it's VERY possible that we weren't even talking to me. But my selfish ass always thinks it's all about me. So whether you were talking to me or not... I'm par for the course! 🥳

Brian - you‘re mistaken! Lullaby was original recorded this way and that‘s why Rob Dawson plays the acoustic part during the song. They only have two hands for one instrument. The same goes for „Savin‘ Me“, „If Everyone Cared“ and so on. There are two way for the artist to play a song on stage where the original recording has more instrument as band members. The first is, you can add an extra musician, or you can add the missing intruments via computer edit.

your a bieber fan clearly. if its written to have extra portion then whats the big deal lots of artists have supporting musicians to help play those portions live instead of using a audio track and making it sound like its fake and lip synced

@Brian Dude. It's no big deal that they have an extra musician. It's not because they're unable to play their songs lol. It's to make the whole performance sound better. This is a track where Chad sings without his guitar so they've got someone else playing the acoustic. It's no big deal. What.. do you think Chad is unable to play the 4 chords that the extra guy is playing!? There's still nothing wrong with having the guy as a 3rd guitarist when Chad is playing too. There might be three separate guitar parts that need playing or he just might be playing the same stuff to beef up the sound. Usually it's because something else is being played though, like an acoustic while Ryan is usually playing rhythm and Chad is playing rhythm and a solo. What about the other sounds in their songs such as strings and electronics? They are just played by the computer. Would you hate it if they had a full orchestra behind them playing string bits? As another person said, Brian you're so wrong.

Who cares if they have supporting musicians - I’d rather that than having backing tracks. Plenty of musicians choose to do it - some choose not to - either way it’s live music and that makes it great
