Being able to swap beavers in the middle of assist attacks is such a cool idea that I can see having a lot of practical use. This is a really cool moveset
You would LOVE Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, Power Rangers Battle For The Grid, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, or Project L. All of those games allow you to switch characters during assists and allow for really creative strategies with most of them being easy to learn (except MvCi)
I really like what they did for the Angry Beavers. They're not just a switchable character(s), they're a like full on Marvel Vs. Capcom tag team with assists. They look like a lot of fun to play as. Also, Norbert's attack when Dagget summons him with his side special is absolutely Vegeta's assist from FighterZ.
This was by far the BEST spotlight yet! While I wasn't able to watch their show a lot, I LOVED the Angry beavers and always enjoyed watching their show when I got the chance! Love their tag-team gimmick!
Hands down the most unique characters I’ve seen in a platform fighter. This honestly cool too. The combo potential between these two is gonna be unstoppable
Don't like comparisons as they never are accurate, but Tom and Jerry(Multiversus) did something very similar as you were able to control both of them. You couldn't switch, but many characters like Reindog, Arya, and Wonder Woman could pull you across the screen(or themselves) to serve a similar function.

@@leopoldine2094 I don’t really like Smash at all. Or their movement. That’s the thing that makes me hate smash is the movement. It feels so stiff. And playing online doesn’t help because there’s nothing but sweats
This was amazing spotlight. You can hear his love for the Beavers permeating through the video. Where do i begin? Their animations look fantastic, their tag out mechanic is so fresh in a platform fighter ( in terms of how it works), the combos actuality look insane. Ladies and Gentlemen, THIS is what a game looks like when you invest in its future. This level of polish is insane.
@gimo6881 Yes, and I think that's stupid. Especially the characters that they cut that were important. But at the same time NASB 2 is a huge upgrade from the original. You can be excited for this game, and still be disappointed in the roster/ the devs decisions. Idk why opinions have to be so polarized.
This is the dumbest drama ever. The game literally has 7 more characters than the original did, and the move sets are 1000% more interesting and unique. Most of the cut characters weren’t that interesting anyway. The loud house boy sucked and was probably the most boring, unimaginative moveset, Helga was a main of mine, but she really didn’t have much going for her, and PTM was just a generic big, nothing to see here outside of his toast pellet jank. The only character I will truly miss and wish could have returned is Sandy, because she was one of the truly unique cut characters that actually had some interesting stuff in her kit, but she was pretty jank too Tbh.

@@Hevenlee Pyra and Mythra do have their own personalities each. They just exist as one single entity. Mythra was the original and created Pyra following events that occurred in the past.

I can’t imagine how much work was put into these two beavers alone since they’re basically two whole characters for the price of one. They genuinely seem like some of the most unique characters in any platform fighter ever and I can’t wait to see what talented players can do with them
Yeah!! The only thing I'm worried about is them being a little overtuned but I think that everyone else in the game has stuff like that so maybe it won't be too much to handle
@@kirby260b3 while they have a ton of options for combos and work around I don't think they are gonna be overpowered. As soon as people get the match-ups they'll learn to read a beaver players mind and start using their assist moves against them.

As a huge Angry Beavers fan I can’t put into words how goddamn happy I am that we’re finally seeing Norbert and Daggett again after 22 years. The devs clearly did their research as they were putting them into the game from the art direction to all of the callbacks to past episodes, you best bet I’m buying this on day one and that they’re going to be my mains. Angry Beavers chads, we have truly won.
A stance character where the other character comes in to assist for some specials and you teleport to them if you change stance while they are assisting? Yep this is a good enough replacement for Catdog. (Only a few moves change between stances and it is somewhat hard to even know which stance it is)
This spotlight was actually very well presented and really fun to watch! Not to mention how unique the angry beavers are as a playable character! I feel like this is what diddy kong's moveset could've been like had they made him a tag-team with dixie kong
These two Angry Beavers are gonna be Super Fun to play. The tag team gimmick is Awesome and like the idea to able to swap Beavers in middle of assist attacks, there moveset is Great!
Instead of just being ice climber or pyra and mythra clones and nothing else they mixed the two together while still giving them their own identity and I love it. With every character spotlight this game keeps getting better and better every time!
You know, I thought the two would be like Pyra/Mythra (two characters that can swap between each other, moves are similar, different strengths and weaknesses), but no, they are much more like Zelda/Sheik. The fact that they both have a completely different moveset is really neat and definitely shows how much effort was put into them! Also I started watching the cartoon for the first time because of the announcement and it’s very funny, can’t wait to play as them! 👍🏻
While I wasn’t a big fan of the show growing up, I must say I really like the Zelda/Sheik style moveset. Though Dagget’s up special is giving me real Donkey Kong energy.
Awesome I can't wait to play with the angry beavers I recently finished watching the full series and i was kinda hoping that the muscular beaver and baren von bad guy outfits would show up in this because those are the most iconic outfits for Daggett and Norbert
bro got Vegeta's Ki Blast Volley, Goku's Kamehameha or really any typical Beam assist, Yamacha's Wolf Fang Fist, & Dr Doom's Hidden Missiles all as assists i wasn't expecting them to drop the best assists in all of assist fighters in this game too lmao as if Roman Cancels & actual Supers weren't enough

I love the angry beavers being in the game and there moveset looks awesome and a lot of fun to play as. And also I think having Dagget and Norbert swappable like Pokémon trainer in ultimate or Zelda and sheik from past super smash bros games works perfectly for them.

Aw yeah, this is the one I've been waiting for ever since the Angry Beavers got announced! Norbert and Daggett look like SO MUCH FUN to play, plus each Beaver having their own unique specials and their neutral and side specials calling out the other beaver for an assist? November 3 cannot get here fast enough. I hope either Rocko or Reptar are next! Only one problem: where are Muscular Beaver and Baron Once Bad Then Good Then Bad Again Then Is Anyone Keeping Count Anymore Beaver?!
The fact that we got a Gamexplain editor to narrate this spotlight means that GameMill aren't messing around. And jake nailed it! He putted so much effort into explaining these fighters. Can't wait to play as them when the game launches!
You don't know how happy I am to finally see the Angry Beavers in the Nickelodeon All Star Brawl! I loved this show growing up and now I really want to play this game for the beavers!!!

Dag and Norb look like they're going to be top tier. Glad to see these two after so long. loved the cartoon growing up XD To be honest, these two look like they'd be tournament banned because of how difficult it would be to punish any of these attacks along with them being able to tag out during an of stage attack to avoid killing themselves while giving them a safe recovery.
btw you guys did a fantastic job with the characters this time you really learned a lot from the first one and I'm very happy you got a second chance and what I hope was more budget seeing the voices, better models and animations I will happily pay full price for this game great work!
