Nickelodeon Closedown 

I remember this. They'd show this closedown sequence on Nickelodeon just before 7pm (around 1999) and then switch over to Paramount. This kind of reminded me of the Cartoon Network closedown sequence.

One night they said dont be sad cause we'll be back for the final time then never returned due to a rebrand

Think if I'm correct, Nickelodeon timeshared with Paramount channel whilst Cartoon Network Timeshared with TNT/TCM around 9pm... This was back when we had the 30 channels on Telewest! haha!

Thought I was going crazy. NO ONE else I know remembers this!

I remember this well! Aired at closedown every night on Nickelodeon in the UK from the late 1990s until around mid-2002.

This bumper did a good job to go to sleep beacuse I was too scared

I remember this closedown but I'm sure there was a start up with the cows

I was an anti-Nick pro-Cartoon Network fanboy at the time so I only saw this once and found it rather disturbing (no, my anti-Nick stance at the time did NOT factor into this!), in 1996 Nick used a dog ident as their closing bumper which although it sounded a bit distressing was much easier going on one’s senses! I also remember before TCC ended their broadcast day with a rundown of the following morning’s programming, they ended their broadcast day with some spacey-looking ident!

Clock 12:28am.

Yeah nick would finish at 6:55pm then Paramount or something would air at 7:00pm. Cannot remember the name. Maybe TNT? Not too sure. Miss the cows!! :P
