Thomas Achiampong I respectfully disagree, PS2, stable cable TV, fun websites like hot wheels and neopets, the explosion of hot wheels toys, the beautiful corvettes, Halo 1 & 2, the iPod, rapid growth of downloading music, RU-vid, social media, the truly stable internet, online shopping skyrocketing, HDTV, the dawn of flatscreens, I had an absolute amazing time! 😄
After work, I come back home and watch classic commercials like these just to relive a simple time... My life's not perfect and my current Nine to Five job sucks but what keeps me going everyday is just to reminisce on the good times of life, a 90s baby and a proud Early 2000's kid
This makes me happy and sad at the same time. I was 9 in 2004. Im almost 26 now, i look back and wish i did things alot differently in life. Back then i didnt have to worry about any of that
I'm so nestalgic for this time period I was in the absolute peak of my childhood 4th grade and about to turn 10. And this was also the last school year when hardly any kid had a cell phone. The late 90s-2005 was the best time period for nick and CN IMO
no lie this totally brought me back to being 10 years old sitting on my parents bedroom floor watching nick. its insane how i can remember some of these commercials like it was yesterday a much simpler time! thanks for sharing!!1
OMG those vintage Drake and Josh promos. I don't know why I didn't watch the premiere. I ended up buying the Suddenly Brothers DVD, I think at Borders and became a fan that way. Drake and Josh will always be my favorite Nickelodeon sitcom, and it was great seeing commercials from the night it aired for the first time.
Thank you so much for preserving this! It’s a piece of history that woulda been lost forever! Wish everydays commercials were preserved :(. Hinde sight is a bitch
It's strange how much darker things seem the older you get. Like I'm not sure why but I get dark and anxious feeling from watching these as much as I love nostalgia.
It's 2020 now Damn I really miss the Good times 2004 looked so simple and brighter back then and Nickelodeon still had the good shows we all remembered.
@@paperchasindude6578 Yeah I agree with you man. this brand new decade probably doesn't have any more interesting shows and movies. Life really sucks now!
I always wondered why they advertise things like Diet pills on Kids channels. Nick wasnt too bad but For some reason Discovery Kids had commercials for things like Timeshares, Awnings, and that annoying metal detecter one. Edit: Whoa Pickboy brought back tons of memories
speaking of annoying commercials, currently, nick is airing an ANNOYING AS FUCK commercial for girly toys called “rock n rollerskate” and it has SUCH A DAMN ANNOYING SONG in it; every time i see it air while i’m watching nickelodeon, nicktoons, or teennick, i mute the tv
sometimes id constantly switch between these and cartoon network and disney ads and promos videos like im channel surfing like a pro again ¥¥¥ long live the 2000s™
This was Nickelodeon’s final year for me. Rocket Power ended as did Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys , Hey Arnold, and Spongebob in my head ended with the movie since that’s where Stephen Hillenburg wanted it to end. Basically, everything I grew up with on Nick in the 90s took its final bow in 2004.
The shows that premiered in 2004-2005 were good though, l Iike Unfabulous, Ned's Declassified, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Danny Phantom, Invader Zim But that's about it. Zoey 101 & iCarly were the transition into trash, and nicktoons died after this
Lol maybe you do but not just because you searched for commercials. Otherwise that means all the millions of others in the world who want to reflect on their childhood for memory sake have autism as well.
@@KRSonbe culturally yes even though there was some mid-2000’s culture showing up on here as you can see from the video. Numerically, it would be the mid-2000’s
@@playoffexpert3938 early 2004 is apart of the early 2000s though. Technically, the whole year of '04 is but I'd say (In my opinion) that mid-late '04 is apart of the mid 2000s though. The mid 2000s started with 2005.
I was going to Middle school a few years ago, watching Power Rangers, listening to the Spice girls, and Backstreet boys. This May I will be 40, if that answers your question.... It was JUST yesterday for me..
@@banrap9369 it depends ppl have good memories im born in 03 i remember my second birthday like it was yesterday but dat wasnt my childhood mines was late 00s and early 10s
Teenick was so damn cool. I remember I wanted to watch Play perform but we had to watch Cartoon Network because there was a new episode of something, idk what.
Announcer: From the creator of The Fairly Oddparents comes the story of Timmy Turner's favorite hero. Crash: I’m Crash Nebula, space hero! Announcer: Crash Nebula, coming Friday, April 11th at 8/7c on Nickelodeon
Announcer: This May, the unthinkable will happen. Timmy: My name’s not Jimmy, it’s Timmy. Jimmy: Timmy? Who’s Timmy? I’m Jimmy. Jimmy Neutron. Announcer: How would Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner switch universes? Find out this May on Nickelodeon
Feathered Friends holy shit!! 😮 glad you’re ok after all that damn alternative school and probation because of a threat teachers in the early 2000s didn’t play around when it came to children’s lives
Just watched that new quiet on set documentary, and im gonna be honest. My memories of nickelodeon are kinda ruined now, especially after now knowing what happened to Drake
