Oh this movie has a special place in my heart, for an 11 year old me it was fun, I just wanted to have fun when watching animations, so watching cattle riding motorcycles were badass
I just had a weird dream this morning about the movie airing on tv as a promotion for a dvd release (idk) and while my dog woke me up within the first few minutes of it, it already looked to be a much better version than the one we got One of the first scenes we get is of a few cows standing at the table reading a newspaper, but quickly and fluidly shifting into all fours as the farmer arrives (some of them actually mess around with cellphones under the table before another one stops them). I also remember them tossing breakfast onto the farmer’s plate, with the chair they had for him being fixed up all nice, showing how much they care about him, but I remember thinking about how he doesn’t question that or that he simply thinks it’s his wife I also remember… well I don’t remember their names, but they’re the kids parents, being with him. Their dialogue implied the kid’s parents weren’t around and they were his aunt and uncle looking after him, with the uncle making a sarcastic remark about the parents and the aunt saying nothing’s too good for little angel, implying his parents aren’t around or very responsible people, and while raised by his aunt he is constantly spoiled by him, both of which would explain his behavior and give more depth to their characters Idk, sorry about the random comment, just felt weird that I dreamed this and since I remembered seeing this video a while back about how bad the movie was, I figured I’d share the version my dream made up
Though why can't you have a little fun when watching something who cares if some movies dont have charcter development moments sometimes a simple fun movie can be good
I saved my friends marriage by playing Biggie Cheese's Boombastic at his wedding when they were just about to call it off. Upon the sweet serenade reaching their ears, they were overcome with love they completely forgot about their problems and married. True Story.
What I’ve noticed is that this film is very similar to a certain other early 2000s film that came out a few years prior, both films have a father figure of the main character named Ben who die after giving a life lesson, the sun character confronts the villain who mock their nobility and give that character an inner conflict, and both films have the protagonist “grow” as a character, the difference being that the other protagonist actually GREQ as a character
honestly the only thing Open Season is worth remembering for is Shaw, the villain of the movie, and that's it. There's a video on RU-vid that is the entire Open Season movie but only when Shaw is on screen. I'd rather watch that video a million times than the movie all things considered
I haven’t seen the movie in so long but the animation really does look very bad, and I’d be willing to forgive the poor quality if it was an older movie but knowing that it came out in the same year as such timeless classics… Definitely feel like one of, if not the only, best part was how they killed off one of the major characters halfway through the film and didn’t just have them come back
Barnyard is my childhood film I think barnyard is a terbile movie but it is a Masterpice also as well because of the cow dancing scene😅😅😅😅😅 and that phone joke was comedy in my opion 5:21 and my boy biggy chese must have 1,000,000,000 subscribers
Barnyard is a lot like Jimmy Neutron in a sense. They both started out as movies before becoming tv shows, they have similar animation, and they both feature Jeff Garcia and Rob Paulson (and probably a few other actors who I haven’t noticed yet).
