The art is in the detail, Paiste must have thought, and created 'Nicko's Treasures,' a unique and limited edition set inspired by the Mayan theme of the tour stage set. You can choose from four videos in which Nicko's Paiste Treasures are explained and demoed by either Nicko McBrain himself, or the recap of the cymbals on display at NAMM 2017. It is fun and interesting to watch the driven, inspiring and ever funny Nicko McBrain talk so passionately about his love for the Paiste company and even more about the love for his cymbals. Of this anomaly in cymbal production are only 83 crated sets worldwide made. The Treasures are indeed all unique, just like the drummer they are made for.

I started out basic. Have now tama dyna drive pedals, sabian aax cymbals, pearl export all mounted on a pearl rack. Upgrading the kit next. Taken me about 6 years to upgrade everything, but its all worth it

Man, it's Paiste (the best on the market), it's a signature set, it's a huge set with many big cymbals customized with laser graphics. Of course it's a limited set for the wealthy collectors...we mere mortals could maybe buy only two Signature crashes and being broken for the rest of our lives.

I'm one of those non-drummers who fantasises about their dream kit if I was a drummer. Influenced by Dave Lombardo and Nicko to go with pAiSte. My fantasy kit would include a gong and: Signature series - 16" thin china 16" and 17" crashes 18" and 19" heavy full crashes 10" splash 22" Nicko McBrain signature bell ride 14" medium heavy bottom, medium top sound edge hi-hat 900 series - 8" splash Rude series - 20" wild china. I'd also include one cymbal that isn't paiste. A 16" HHX o-zone crash from sabian.

in 1993 directly before the divorce of my parents and our first house, i got a red sonor 2000 snare and Nicko Mc Brain sticks for xmas, i always thought there might be the rest of the kit suddenly appearing some time afterwards but this was a calculation i made without my parents greed ! he was making adverts for a huge brand,12 hour day,10k a month and my mom was a teacher, so no money for a lousy lower mid tier sonor 2000...

I don't know him, but I love that man, and his drum kit playing excellence. Iron Maiden has been in my life since 1984 when I was ten. Mtv had 'Maiden's videos in steady rotation. I still have my cassettes. Love the beer as well👍🏻😁

I'm not big on using artist signature cymbals , nor am I into heavy cymbals, save for the ride and the Bell. Those two are awesome. Actually, all those cymbals are absolutely gorgeous, I just can't get any real use out of heavy crashes. Best looking artist line set I've ever seen though

You can, get a hammer and some metal sand paper. I spoke to Bill Stewart a few years ago about his amazing ride and he told me he'd modified it himself.

I'm a Sabian man, first cymbals I owned and stuck with them all this time. I love Paiste but the price tag is off-putting

I'm with Zildjian crashes and chinas but Paiste for hats, ride & splashes. Once had a beautiful Sabian 15" thin crash but it cracked in the end. When the crashes go I may well replace with Sabian. Easily still in the top three makes and the price tag certainly helps these days!

why is it so fucking difficult to buy a 22 or 24 china? Niko and Ian Paice both play them, but you can't find them anywhere online or in stores. Only used, and wayyyy overpriced...because hurrr durrr "it's discontinued"

great cymbals bla bla super duper cymbals I have bla bla you can't buy them bla bla... well then don't show off. I'll stick with Meinl. They always sell signature cymbals to everybody...
