Nicky Nook | Great Kids Beginner Fell | Encouraging the next generation
In this video, I take my children for a lovely hike up and around Nicky Nook fell in Lancashire which affords stunning views across the Irish sea, to Cumbria. Situated in the Forest of Bowland AONB, this is an ideal area to take your little ones if you're thinking about getting them out hiking. We saw a few babies braving it with their folks which was fantastic to see!
I believe it is important to teach our younger generation about nature and the great outdoors and hopefully sow the seeds for the next generation of outdoor ambassadors to follow in our footsteps.
Some stunning scenery, bleak albeit beautiful - a top day out in our Great Outdoors!

Weird isn't it as I've driven past it, completely oblivious - there are some great hikes in the area mate. Will be doing some future exploration there.

Some of my fondest memories growing up was my mother taking us camping. She taught us about nature and how important getting outdoors is to your mental health and overall well-being. You are teaching your children these important life lessons, while making beautiful memories they will cherish later in life. They are lucky kiddos.

Pleasant walk that mate, one of mine that, i usually do it in a reverse loop past the reservoir and up the back end of it, where you came down but it feels steep though put eaaier going down the stairs at the front and quieter which will plz Emilie. Great to see the kids enjoying a wander and Happy belated Birthday Tom. You will be on Northern Monk before we know it😂. Keep uo the good work Chris. Take care mate.
