Rosberg was also teammates with the 7 time champion legend Michael Schumacher in his final years, Schumacher made a comeback with Mercedes in 2010-2012 after initially retiring from the sport in 2006, Hamilton replaced Schumacher after he retired for the second and last time at the age of 43, so Rosberg has had some of the toughest teammates ever in the history of the sport, and he went toe to toe with them.

Nico is German. Keke Rosberg, his father is from Finland. Keke won the F1GP world championship, so when Nico won the wc they became the 2nd father and son to do this. The first was Damon Hill in 1996, his father Graham Hill was also a f1gp world champion.

This guy doesnt get the story about Nico and Lewis. They are same generation. They came in formula 1 at almost the same time. Lewis had 3 titles before Nico got his one in 2016. He was in f1 from 06 to 16 and Lewis is in F1 from 2007 till today.

One thing that pissed off lewis was Nico retiring right after winning the championship. Lewis obviously wanted revenge and he thought Nico was running from the battle because if we are all being honest with ourselves, there would be no doubt that Lewis would win the 2017 championship even if Nico was in it. Overall Lewis is and was the superior driver but especially that 2016 season from Nico was his peak and matched Lewis that year

I can understand why Nico retired after that season. Because that relationship with Lewis was really bad, toxic and unhealthy for any humanbeing. And for me that watched that season. I understand why.
