It's utterly pathetic. What was Lando doing into turn 4 on the first lap? Look at how Max overtook Carlos on lap 15 in the Monza 2023 Grand Prix. That was the exact situation Lando was in with Oscar today.

They were going to go bankrupt in 2021. Winning the constructors championship is amazing 3 years on.

it was a major fuckup. if lando had reaction time at start, he would have eaten more points off the leader, max is still hanging on with 7 point difference per race in a junk car. That is 8 with fastest lap, if Rb come in 2nd, but it is hard for Max to finish 2nd with the other 3 teams.

@@arncj18 Lando’s reaction time isn’t the problem. Lando’s reaction time in fact was slightly faster that Max’s reaction time at Zandvoort. Lando’s second phase of the launch is the problem, not the launch itself. Today Lando had a good start, only to give it all up into turn 4…

He's not playing nice. He's just being stupid. He's not playing his cards properly. He is a fast driver, especially in races, but he makes too many mistakes to actually use his strengths.

Couldn’t agree more he backed out to avoid that. And even said post interview he could’ve braked later and obviously just wasn’t expecting that from his own teammate. That sounds ridiculous. Commentators don't want Lando to finish ahead because they're British, they want it because they want an actual championship fight to commentate. There hasn't been a close fight in over two years now. You can acknowledge Piastri drove a great race without ignoring the fact how dumb McLaren are going to look when they lose the championship by a few points.

Max is probably the best defender on the grid in terms of car placement, braking points, making the other driver think too much during it. I get he's crashed, but he an easily keep a place without crashing and he's done it a lot

@@Triggercut92 stop making things up, he is known for causing crashes when being overtaken, same as magnussem. What he´s good at is race pace and beating bad teammates. Also, "making the other driver think too much" actually means his dangerous driving is a cause of concern. Thats literally the opposite of good.

He has yet to win a grand prix without team orders. They both have things they need to work on. Starts and aggression for Lando, qualifying and raw speed for Oscar.

@@robertm5969 Lando was pitted first to protect a McLaren 1-2. Both drivers were informed of the plan BEFORE it went down. Oscar led that race from the start and was never passed on pure speed. If McLaren had pitted Oscar FIRST, Lando would have got THIRD. McLaren did that to protect a 1-2. But you should know that if you understand racing✅

It was a perfect combination of Leclerc's tire management, his good race start and Ferrari Strategy. If the start has gone as expected Charles probably would be p3 or p4 at the end of the race.

Lando is better than Oscar this season at least. Lando is a team player, but Oscar isn’t.

Trolling? Piastri has been behind Lando on pure pace for most of the season mate. Look at qualifying head to head and race head to head. Lando is ahead by a consistent margin, and that's while he himself is underperforming. Both McLaren drivers are underperforming. There I said it. That's why McLaren has a hard time prioritising one over the other. That's because Piastri doesn't have the race pace to consistently win, whilst Norris makes mistake after mistake when he needs to win.
