I am still 100% backing Pepe. Give him a run of games and he will show us what we he is about. I refuse to give up on him.

He is slowly becoming the player which we all believed to see,if he keeps this up next season with a bit of luck he will rip the league apart.

He has stepped up recently! Missed a few chances as well but the fact he gets into them means that if he works on his decision making, he will be even better. We have already seen what he is capable of when it comes to finishing. He has worked hard defensively and I am also surprised he wins a lot of aerial battles which helps us going forward and our goalie kicks don't end in the possesion of opposition. He needs to get more minutes for improving his decision making, sitting on the bench won't make any difference. Saka seems a bit tired so I think he deserves some starts right now. They can be super subs for each other as well. Helped us to win against Sp*rs with great pass to Laca leading to pen, very good cross against West Ham.

Hes gotten much stronger physically this season you can see he's not being pushed off the ball as much as last year.

Honestly he could be one of our best players in the future. A thing I’ve noticed since he arrived is his work rate. When he first came I thought he’d be another ozil - sometimes lazy and not tracking back. I’ve been rlly impressed with what artetas done with him because now he wins the ball back really well and he’s always there for defensive headers. The thing I love about the wolves goal (apart from the filthy double nutmeg and beautiful finish) is the fact that he dispossessed someone in midfield, immediately played a one - two and then got himself in a position to do something good - and then he turned on the flames😂 also it’s really impressive to see how his right foot has improved a lot. That filthy goal in the Europa league and the assist to laca vs West Ham. Add that all together, and a lot of flair because my man likes to nutmeg people for fun, and you’ve got yourself a very good player. Deserves much more playing time in the future and he’ll be a star at arsenal. Also his attitude since being left out recently has been superb

Pepe needs to play with midfielders that press high up the pitch and a right back that makes those runs down the wings in order to create more spaces for Pepe to shoot or pass to someone. Something we see on his goal against Leicester. A team like Liverpool would suit him better.

He’s always had the skills and is supremely gifted, I think it was a matter of being able to control his power, so to speak. Along with an improved attitude and increased confidence, I really think the world is his for the taking. Just look at how much more confident he is with his right foot now, and he is damn good with it. He’s also making runs in behind rather than constantly trying to beat his man at a standstill. He’s coming into his own and is quickly turning into our most imposing attacking presence. I think he just needs some more game time.

Hes been playing better since odegaard arrived. I think thats bc pepe now has someone to trust fully with the ball and has the similar level of skills hes got, which means both can learn from each other and both can develop their weak points together. Pepe is a goal scorer, yet he creates chances for his teamsmates for which they are not taking them. Also drawing the attention to him to free up space for other attackers to have them the chance to score...I stan with Nico.

I am curious to know, he was out of form when the team was playing thier worse. Now the team is much better he will play better if he is given a chance.

He actually has one of the best goal contributions/min ratio in the whole league, people dont realise it when they watch the games but his impact on arsenals goals have been immense in the last 2 seasons

He’s changed a lot. He used to try tricks and the. Stand and watch when he lost the ball. Arteta has him with a clear game plan - he chooses his passes more intelligently now, and he’s chasing and tackling back, winning headers. His all round game is better. Good to see the progress.

arsenal fans have a love/hate relationship with him because he’s always looking to entertain. when it pays off, we love him, but when it doesn’t, he gets slated.

I have been very critical of him since his first season. But I must say he always tries to be brave. And his work rate plus tracking back has improved so much. Let's see this season. Same price as SANCHO now

What I can say he has improved on is team work ...he now plays well with others unlike last season and he tracks back I mean he gives his all when he is on the pitch .He should have been played more often on the LW .He just needs to improve his shooting that’s what is needed from him .

I fee sorry for him, the guy is quality and is an actual threat when he plays, creates chances and will have at least one good chance himself per game but, because of Arsenal stupidly overpaying for him there is wayyy to much pressure on him. Our best options right now are Pepe and Saka on the wings but, I’m starting to think he’ll never get a good run of games to establish a decent run of form at this club.
