I think that Casey Affleck stands out in every movie he is in. star or supporting role he just kills it. he has such a diverse talent. he is one of the best and I hope he is around for a long time.

Manchester by the sea is such a masterpiece.

Nicole is a highly emotional and a very deep person. I have watched her interviews when she was in her 20's and now and she speaks with so much clarity and insight into human behaviour. She appears to be an unbiased person.

I love Nicole Kidman no matter what people say about her appearance. Her looks may not be real but the honesty and in her eyes and heart couldn't have been more genuine. Her views have depth and soul which just adds to her classy and graceful personality. It's wonderful to see her so happy personally and professionally.

Caseys performance is one of the greatest I've ever seen. It's just so sad and powerful but not in the overacted way. His oscar win is soo well deserved despite his personal life. Plus allegations aren't true unless they are proved.

Casie's performance in 'Manchester by the Sea' made me cry my eyes out. Nicole is so angelic it feels a bit moronic to allow your eyes move away, inadvertently from her face.

Love this ACTOR ON ACTOR series... this is an especially good one. Both terrific actors and fun to listen to.

I was like 20 when to die for came out. And it was the film that made me think “Wow. Nicole Kidman can actually act”. It was a turning point for her in her career, and it made directors and audiences see her in a way that fluff like Days Of Thunder just couldn’t. It’s also one of my favorite of her films.

I was first introduced to Nicole at - actually - a really young age through Dogville. I was formally and appropriately re-introduced to Von Trier's filmography later on and re-watched it; Incredible performance. As for the gentleman, it was Lonesome Jim. To this day it remains one of my favourite films, and he has managed to stay relevant in .. low-key, down to earth, just straight up incredibly talented and persevering actor which I respect dearly and admire in him. Most recently in Manchester by the Sea he was, yet again, a pleasure to witness. Great pairing.

I would like to see Casey Affleck and Christian Bale together. They both independently said about each other that the other one was the finest actor they had ever worked with. That would be so much talent in one room! - And also I'd like to see Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch interview each other.

If people would focus more on the present than the past, we would all be serving this world some good. Whatever happened in his past, which nobody has evidence of, shouldn't take away from his talent. Whether it's true or not, we don't know, so based on that I'll say that Casey did a phenomenal job . I cried throughout the movie because he played that character so well. He was amazing, wicked good! His performance was just mesmerizing. I felt like I could really feel his grief in this movie. All the actors were amazing but, I couldn't stop keep my eye off Casey's character. To the people leaving negative comments below, y'all do know y'all can just NOT watch his interviews or anything involving him? The nay Sayers are the reason why this world continues to regress. You're not having any effect on his life by leaving negative comments, so do yourself a favor and use your anger towards things that actually matter! Like standing against your president, and his absurd requests like funding a stupid wall. When there are millions of people trying to make an honest living. Turn that anger into love instead of so much hate. We have enough of that going on already. Love yourself more.

Appreciate the insight (re: Manchester By The Sea) why Affleck's character insisted on carrying the groceries as he watched his house burn to the ground. I had wondered about that when I watched the scene and thought it odd.

he joined the giants in Manchester By The Sea and even Jesse James. some of his best performances ever. he’s got what it takes clearly cos his awards prove that but if he was taken seriously a bit more, he would’ve landed huge roles. it’s just a shame he gets left on the back burner a bit when he’s just as good as other A list actors that aren’t really that great.

His story describing the words - "holding the groceries in such a way" while watching the house burn. That really struck me for some reason.

I love the sound of Casey's voice, how he kind of loses it in his laugh. I wish he'd do an audio book. My favorite Nicole movie is The Others.

It was disturbing to read about the sexual harassment lawsuits filed against him by two female producers which were settled out of court. Also the CBS Sunday Morning interview that aired last week where he disclosed that he called Columbia University after dropping out and asked if they would confer him an honorary degree. They had the good sense to turn him down, and requested he pay back his outstanding tuition bill. What nerve!
