not really. emma seems like she is always on stage, aware she is in the public eye... i don't know i don't buy this "chemistry" --(though I totally feel her, total respect for emma)
agreed. they have some interest with each other, you can see it in how they approach each other closer and closer from their chairs as the interview advances, disacknowledging the camera with each increment. it's really something to watchl.
Molly is the personification of the expression "couldn't hurt a fly". Her body language is always so kind, warm, welcoming but also electric! I absolutely ADORE her. Emma is a gem too!
I remember some interview where they asked Jennifer Lawrence to describe Adele and Emma Stone and he said Emma is the sweetest person on the planet. That she would never hurt a fly. I think Molly and Emma’s energies match really well probably because of that. They’re genuinely sweet people.

amphetamean-queen Kristen wiig is a great example of comedian with so much range. Emma is very open. Some parts of Emma remind me of Margot Robbie-both seem very much in love with life.
Emma has such strong facial expressions and Molly uses her hands to express her points, love it, the hand motions actually explained her transition into comedy.
No, it's not just Molly! I came to work one day in Ben & Jerry's in Boston and the manager was talking to this lady at the counter. I thought that it was his friend and they were talking and laughing like they knew eachother for forever. She left and my boss turned to me and goes, "Do you know who that was?" I walked straight to the back to put my things down and didn't see the face. I said, "no. Who?" "That was Emma Stone. She wanted to know where the hair salon was." She had such a easy comfortable way about her. Every time I tell the story, I say how sweet and easy going she seemed to be that I didn't turn my head twice thinking it was a celebrity.
You didn't notice her signature low-key voice ? Anyway , that is a very sweet story . That 's what I most envy you , Americans : You can see celebrities really often , especially in NYC or LA ! Here in France , there's just some tiny chances for us , to see our favorites Hollywood celebrities .

What an enjoyable interview. I wasn't sure I would actually watch the whole interview when I started but it turned to be very interesting laid back conversation.
What a great synergy they have, amazing! Some of the interviews I've seen seemed awkward or somewhat forced. This one flows so seamlessly; my guess it's because they are both very generous, genuine and down-to-earth.
I love both of these women... their work and their personalities. Molly Shannon really knows how to tell a story through her gesturing. I wouldn't be surprised if she knows sign language.

we feel like we know emma stone cause she is who we wanted lindsey lohan to be. beautiful, young, vibrant, talented, but also kind, smart and responsible...except lindsey didnt come through on the latter...so emma stepped in and filled in.

I only really know Molly Shannon from that one small role in Scrubs. But I get the sense from this she was cast there cos she really is that positive and talkative!
This is one of the best Actors on Actors. However many plaudits Molly Shannon gets, it will never be enough. She comes across as such a sweet person too. Her level of commitment in the Mary Katherine Gallagher sketches is something every single comedian should study. It makes a change to see two actors who seem so genuinely down to Earth discuss their craft.
Watch it small and listen carefully with the captioning, as the continual ad pop-ups are less obtrusive. Molly BTW is auditioning for a PBS series based on Charlie Rose' work but featuring actors only. Makes sense, saves royalty fees to Variety.
I'm feeling less like making comments when the world already knows what makes them such incredibly complimentary ambassadors to their respective crafts or whatever...seriously though ,,as spiritual as Emma smiling with tears of joy *omfg❤️ oh my... & both the natural intimate nature that wasn't "put on" here, makes the interview feel nearly slumberparty or colloquially hidden in a shell of girly anticipation for something bad or hilariously naugty ...that butter is fit for only the finest of mermaids I'll haveyou both know, pardon me ....actresses that is. 😋 ...super SUPER SPICY!!! It's really strange to read how people say they interact so naturally when I feel the complete opposite, that there's something off, exaggerated about their interaction as if they're faking it. Interesting observation.

More people need to see "Other People," not just for Molly's outstanding performance, but for how poignant, wonderful, and beautiful it is. Watching this now, you can tell there was an expectation for her to receive more award attention, but sadly, she got overshadowed.

But isn't that the main IT factor quality that makes someone a great movie star or great pop star (doesn't always equate to great artist) They have the ability to invite you into their world making it appear as though you are their friend.
