Today, Good Friday, we both celebrate and mourn the greatest act of love and sacrifice known to man. The day a Savior gave his body and very last breath so we could know the love of our Father.
This song, Show Up, is about the Lent and Easter themes of a God who didn't wait for us to find a way to Him, but showed up to us here on earth. He continues to show up to us in our every day lives.
When we feel God is distant we need only ask for a heightened awareness of His presence which is already in us and around us every second of every day.
The invitation before us is to slow down and give God space to show up.
