i'm amazed. i still can't get over the thing, that he planned all this out by himself and didn't even got caught

He legit became my favorite character. Everyone underestimated the bond between the Nie brothers. They would have overturned the world to protect each other. It's my favorite part of the whole untamed world.

maybe i'm just slow, but it took me till my 3rd watch through to realise the mystery man with the fan in episode 1 was him. they really do hide him so well but once you go back and watch knowing the WHOLE 16 years later plot was set off by him, you really see where he lays the groundwork, like when he distracted JGY at the banquet so his wifes servant would get a chance to speak to her alone

Jin GuangYao was living with the Nie Clan before, and he was very sure even if he killed the big brother, the stupid Nie HuiShang won't ever find out Oh, how wrong he was. And that's how good Nie HuiShang was. Even the person who was close to him didn't see his meticulous and clever self. Even when everything was done and all his goals were achieved, only the genius Wei WuXian can manage to saw his true self I really love his character and this video explain it well, goo job, mate!

I am still amazed by him. The one who I thought was a sweet, innocent baby was the mastermind behind all this. He planned the whole 16 years to get revenge. Brought WWX back, lead them to yi city, gave clues without being caught and got meng yao killed. He is really a bad*ss

At last he was left with nobody. Lanzhan and weiying were together, wenning got sizhui, jiang cheng with his nephew. So sad

It's like you've been fooled by a fool.

I almost cried when Huasang discovered how his big brother was killed, those discord notes. So touching!

That shot at 1:00 is my favourite from the movie, you can see him change in just a few seconds. You can see so much in his eyes.

OMG, YESSSSSSS!!! Nie Huaisang's ruthlessness is so hard to capture, because so much of his meticulous planning is done completely behind the scenes. We see the fallout of his actions well enough throughout the final act, but on the surface he looks so innocent and naive until the VERY end. And YET... somehow you've managed to show us a glimpse of the puppet master underneath in this edit. Well played!!

No wonder they called him Director Nie. Now I understand the story more. Because I'm a bit confuse at first, because of the last scene of him. He played the role really well.

This is a really nice edit. It's funny how we never saw Huisang coming, but if you watch it again, it was obvious from the start because of the fan.

I've watched the untamed about four times now and it took me forever to realize that most of this video footage is from the spin off, not the main show.

We earth dwellers are so fortunate that this trap card genius is fond of peace and arts. And also, Meng Yao made the wrong move to touch his beloved brother. He just activated the sleeping beast called Nie Huaisang

Ahhh Huisiang. So I watched the untamed first, then read it, and then rewatched the show. So when I first watched it, I liked him, but he definitely wasn't one of my favorites. It was all the main characters. Now as time goes by, my favorite characters are all the obscure ones. 1.) Nie Huaisang 2.) Lan Jingyi 3.) Wen Ning (not that he's a background character, but he's so sweet, how could he not be on the list?) 4.)Jiang Cheng and Jiang YanLi kinda tie here 5.) Lan QiRen/ Xewu Jun Seriously, the author was so amazing to make so many characters that are so likable and diverse.

Nie huasang was the eye! It made me realize the ending of the untamed was just like that. It was him!

Ji Li was a good choice of being Nie Huaisang. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

bruh, never in my whole life watched a genuine drama like the untamed. its been a week since i finished watching the original version, now i can't move on, i'm still into it.

I don't think he was meticulous and ruthless. I think he was in pain. Probably lonely too. He must have sacrificed a lot for this plot to work...

Watch "Fatal Journey and you will understand the level of their relationship. If you have only watched the series, you might think he is too overly determined. Anyways, Nie Huaisang can’t fight so what else could he have done. He cannot get the revenge himself and- (this is my opinion), one thing that was kind of unreasonable was when Wei Wuxian and everyone else acted so cold to him as if he was a bad guy. Without him, Jin Guang Yao would probably have killed so many more people. It’s not like he had any intention to hurt anyone either. Plus just like Wei Wuxian wanted to get revenge for Jiang Sect and later massacred the Wen Sect that day, Nie Huaisang wanted it to for Jin Guang Yao. May I remind you that most of those hundreds of disciples Wei Ying killed all in different, disgusting ways were just doing their job and born into the wrong sect? Nie Huaisang may have used everyone as chess pieces but you can tell how carefully he planned everything out that he never intended to get anyone hurt. He even gave Wei Wuxian back to Lan Wangji haha. It’s not like he could’ve killed Jin Guangyao himself he has no cultivation, either. Anyways like Wei Wuxian had said to Lan Zhan that night, it has direct blood contact with his clan, of course, he would have to take revenge and others don't have any say in it. Not saying what he did was right to everyone, but I had thought Wei Wuxian would at least understand. Another thing, many people blame him for Lan Xichen's condition but I don't think he's the problem at all. Though I love Xichen, he was too blind to see through everything. He cared so much for a person that killed so many people and like he said, HE KNEW, but stood by. Besides, Nie Huaisang, who was in action, he was the only one aware to some degree. I guess it's only destined that he kills him to clean himself. (Don’t get me wrong, Wei Wuxian and Lan Xichen suffered a lot and are good people. I’m not blaming any of them for anything but I just thought the ending and controversies are a bit unfair for Nie Huaisang.) sorry for long comment, im tired too im just moved 😭😭😭😭 LOVE THE UNTAMED❤️❤️
