i love the death animations in this game no fluff or drama just a body losing strength, maybe a short fight but that's it it feels so human which adds a whole nother level of irony
Pod: Analysis: This area is composed of crystilised silicon and carbon. *Further details unknown* . 2B: Who built it? Pod: This pod has serious concerns about unit *2B* 's cognitive abilities.
Not surprising, Nier Automata was also made by Platinum Games which they made Bayonetta. For me, I do find 2B walk cycle pretty similar to Bayonetta walk cycle...
IMO Adam loved humanity more than the androids. I mean, androids were PROGRAMMED to defend humanity, but Adam and its machine race WANTED to discover more of humanity and eventually become one of them
i loved how Adam was the personification of the machines curiosity on humans and desire to understand them and be like them, while toying around with androids, and Eve just wanted to play with adam and ended up becoming the personification of Machine Hatred on Androids and the whole world
The core of humanity is desire. Conflict is merely a byproduct. Our desires are what makes us so... resilient ? It's as beautiful as it is hideous but whithout it we wouldn't have strived.
Comic book villain he's become, I do hope to see more from Adam. He's a dang entertaining character, that's for sure. Also looking pretty stylish there. Dem glasses lol 11:25 I know he's hurt, but that's still a pretty cute picture. They look like a brother and sister there. :)
Adam and Eve are just really interesting villains in general. They wanted to understand the world around them better, but didn't get a whole lot of time to show it- or experience it for that matter. I hope we get a DLC where we can play as them at some point.
@@TsuNaru more like "ive come to the conclusion being human is about constantly fighting over shit with stakes on the line, so imma test this out in full" but yeah, thats why hes goading 2b with 9s, and why he severs from the network
I'm an old fella. 50+. Grew up with video games. Seen them all (just about). But this is my favourite experience of all time. I won't even call it a game. It's an experience. And this section had me. From the design, to the dialogue and mostly to the music. This was art. Beautiful.
I LOVE the sound design of this game, especially the steps, it's so realistic it just wakes me up and feels like am there or it's here. And don't get me started with the soundtrack, it's a masterpiece even when you're just walking.
Ohhh riiiight i forgot there were more of their models... i've dun goofed there i mean Emil made sense to me since he survived NieR and is probably immortal as well. Thanks for setting my thoughts right xD
Is there a reason the two villains are named Adam and Eve and the whole game begins with 2B giving a quote about killing God reminiscent of Nietzsche? The game deals in philosophy.
Not quite though. I think 9S mentions at one point in a sidequest pertaining to food that both Androids and machine lifeforms have fusion reactors, so technically their only necessary sustenance is water. There wouldn't be a reason for them to be using oil in their network. Unless of course, that's actually blood which implies oxygen usage, which would be why you can kill an android by strangling them. But then that throws up the question of why their bodies even need air when they've also been seen flying flight units directly from space into Earth without any need for a space suit. In which case I'm pretty sure the devs for this game just walks up to you and say "Just shut up and enjoy 2B's thighs already".
@@Ultrapyre maybe it's some sort of power source? cutting off the source from their head, where I'm assuming their most important parts are like in a human, would definitely kill an android
