Alright, I gotta say: I love how the pods says "Evade" and both 9S and A2 are like "I know thzt already" and 2B is just like "Mmmh, yes, that makes sense". 2B's "No" kinda sends shivers down my spine because she almost never shows that much emotion. And last but not least: Do you ever think about what's happening here? You basically have your characters thinking "Something's wrong I can feel it", so they follow their joyful friend they shoot down all the time only to find that he has gigantic clones living in the desert, which are from the old world, uses magic and are pretty much all powerful... And having an existential crisis.
Its confirmed actually. The Yorha models were given fragments of backed up human memories to make them more "human" to be able to fight with magic more efficiently. A2 does, in fact, have a bit of Kaine.
Meeting Emil was magical. I had no idea what he was or even what role he'd play in the game. But he became my only ray of light, even though everything around me was crumbling down.
Hey hey!! Just beat this boss myself couple hours ago. Absolutely amazing fight, challenging, emotional, banger music, jeez I was in absolute awe the whole time. One thing I did take from this fight, and previously reading up on *Nier: Replicant* lore, I personally feel like it’s “canon” to fight Emil as A2 because in my personal headcanon, A2 reminds Emil so much of Kainé that in the heat of the moment when he starts talking to his clones and says “Isn’t that right Kainé!?” he’s actually accidentally calling A2 that name. But that’s just me.
You know, originally I wanted to do endless grinding so then I could even attempt this fight. However, then I remembered fighting that centipede in the desert as A2 and wanting to kill myself. The fight, being literally a reskin of that I think I'm just going to give up all of my save data right now so screw that monumental slab of garbage and screw grinding for eight days just so that I can attempt that shit. Ps. I'm now one of those selfless individuals who gave up their 44 hours of saving data for a stranger they will never meet. Anyways, you can tell me that I'm making a mistake or that I'm an ass, but I'm literally giving up 44 hours of my life for someone else so that's beyond selfless and good-natured in my opinion...
I'm a bit late but I just did this fight with 9S in hard mode and it's easy, just hack them before they can do anything and you won't receive any damage. If you're not lvl 99 then grind the bunny in the amusement park, I killed him for like 15 minutes and leveled from 78 to 99
