Jacob Rees actions are entirely consistent with a person who is in a position of power for personal gain rather than out of a sense of duty to his Country.
lord snooty was trained at eton/oxbridge on how to deceive the people, they all are its the most important lesson they learn there, cameron, gove, johnson, lord snooty etc etc,you surely can't still believe they are on your side,oh by the way, there are no conservatives in any of the liblabcon parties now they are all liberals with the same globalist ambitions.
@thomas robert I don't care he's rich, I don't get jealous of others money. My point is, Rich or poor your statement "unless they affect him or his family fortune of course" applies to us all. Isn't that politics? rich or not just because he's rich doesn't mean he can't look out for his own interests. I fear you jealousy of the rich mean they have no say.
@@pommygeezer6789 It used to Hay Penny Hooker. She had to change it for obvious reasons but I do understand that 2 for 1 is available based on the old rate.
Despite this man's clear intelligence and appeal, Boris will never, never, never put him in a senior cabinet position. He's far too much of a serious rival.
Boris seems a spent force these days. He wasn't the same man that came out of hospital after his spot of Covid. After the pandemic stops being a crisis, I can't see him serving his full term
They always try to make him look bad... Seen him speak total sense on many occasions with the MSM trying to deride him. Who would have thought hiring people on merit rather than box ticking was a good idea? Not the MSM! Moggy did think it was a good idea!
@Justin Vaughan funny that I saw that interview and I reckon Rees Mogg got owned by obrien. He couldn't and wouldn't answer questions and hung up after obrien tried about 10 times for Rees Mogg to answer Rees Mogg talks slowly and calmly but he mostly talks utter rubbish.
@@adakennedy8491 Yes they could form a new "Green" party seen as JRM loves signing up to green policies and the "Green New Deal" Oh how much better our lives would all be if we just paid more tax on our fuels and electricity
man just the fact he brought his own drink that he and his family made. I think Rees-Mogg epitomises British and I think he is always worth listening to.
I Love Jacob and could listen to his beautiful voice all day long . What sets him apart is no matter if his views differ from another he always remains polite and respectful and Never gets nasty about people . He’s a wonderful honest and lovely man who in my opinion should be the next PM !! 😊
@@thecoffeehouse5714 Good afternoon. Firstly,Mr Rees-Mogg was instrumental in extricating the United Kingdom from the unaccountable, and,by now failing, European Union. In my opinion, that renders him worthy of praise as a defender of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Secondly, he is a devout Christian, with unwavering moral and ethical principles. He is in addition,a successful individual in his own right. These qualities, to my mind at least, make him EXACTLY the type of person we need involved at the very heart of the Government of our nation. My final point would be,that since he is a thinking, breathing human being,it would be impossible to describe him as a caricature! My kindest regards.
@@pip1723 I could only read part of your answer, as you've been deleted but I agree that the others are echo chambers, too. It's therefore good that there's at least one echo chamber providing a right of centre viewpoint. As for the BBC being impartial - 🤣
Jacob is a rare entity, someone who has real integrity. He would never express views in opposition to Cabinet collective decisions no matter how much he might personally disagree with them. He would make a fine Prime Minister if only people could get past his accent and breeding.
@@malcolmoluwasanmi6398 Because they don’t want people who make sense in higher positions, they want puppets filling them roles. Corporations, Banks and billionaires need representation and representation is unfortunately for sale. I just can’t wait for the day these sellouts meet their demise, if not in this life then definitely in the next.
So why is he not doing anything about Boris he is just as bad as Boris all in the same crackpot circle. freedom being taken away dingy divers criminals being given light sentences all of these things are corruption on a high scale This country has a lot of people totally nut jobs.
Love the content... nigel is on point as always... he asks great questions to which answers are often not answered in full due to time restrictions.... please make the program longer... 🇬🇧
Rees Mogg is being terribly terribly diplomatic regarding Biden's stupid and arrogant blunder - a blunder which will cost the UK dear, in terms of a flood of undocumented young men and almost certainly more "boom boom" incidents. But, he was right to seal his lips in the British interest - it is important for us to maintain at least a semi-amicable relationship with the Biden regime. I'm certain that in private he's livid with President Potato.
I enjoyed that... I respect Jacob; he calmly provided insightful, rational, realistic responses to Nigel's questions. In our diverse society, where many people hold unwavering political biases, and preach that nothing will ever be good enough while the 'opposition' is in power, I really hope he's around for a long time. Restoring faith in politicians is always going to be a massive challenge. And Jacob's educated, well-informed insight and leadership qualities, are helping to change that... in my humble opinion.
Two Conservative heavyweights. A joy to watch. Love how Nige started off nice and easy, kept it friendly. A masterclass in how to endear politicians the channel.
@@chriso8485 respectfully disagree , both are essentially political philosophies . Conservatism being the broader intellectual tradition , compared to the vacuous pitting of the “virtuous” people against the spectral “corrupt elite” that is populism .
@@Jide-bq9yf Sort of. Take US politics. 'America First' is the populist movement, which voters identify with, conservativism is the basis upon which Trump has based (and will base) his policies
Sir Nigel can turn his hand at anything... fantastic politician, frighteningly good public speaker (I've had the pleasure of attending a Brexit Party rally) and now TV host (as well as his LBC stint). He's not afraid of saying what 99% of us are too afraid to say and raise the issues that really matter to us. A true hero in every sense of the word.
@Ploppy Son of Ploppy Brexit is going terribly!.. Have you not listened to a word the fishing industry, the farming industry, small businesses have all said they made a mistake voting out, instead of being better off they're now worse off!. Just as they were warned they would be! - Why do you think it's not being spoken about by top Brexit leave team?! Had it been going well they'd be saying how wonderful it all was! People who are offended will always be offended because that is what they want to be!! What offends me? Why: woke and political correctness of course! Because I'm an Englishman.
Not sure what 'Woke and Political correctness is', but I'm offended by child poverty, Government corruption and the level of deceit in Politics in general.
The special relationship is Uncle Sam bends Bri*an over a barrel and seriously shafts him. No such shafting yet for Uncle Sam's special favourite, Israel.
He’s a conservative with a capital C first and foremost. He would vote for full blown communism if the tories were and they used the whip. He may be the best principles in parliament but no backbone or sway means it’s for naught
Boris won the raffle to be PM , you could see by his face he was thinking " FFS I only entered for a laugh , tells you a lot about the other contenders .
Rees-mogg is a true politician. Or at least what I think a politician should be. Knows his stuff. Incredibly bright. And builds his opinions on well founded information. Brilliant
he would have made a much better job than boris, or indeed any of the whole lot of the not so conservitive party, i think hes the only true tory in there.
No answers for the fishermen who were promised a future for the uk fishing industry post brexit...just cider cricket and didn't frost do a jolly good job of it all .....unbelievable.
I lost respect for Mogg when he voted for vaccine passports which are essentially pointless since being vaccinated does not stop infection or transmission.
I truly think that the next Prime minister was sitting at that table drinking home-made cider. 1st, JRM. Running a very close 2nd NF and the sooner the better, before we become a 100% Muslim Country!
Oh get a grip mate. The UK was 86% white British at the last census, and all others make up 14%. If you genuinely think your comment is remotely possible, then the British education system has failed you
@Jim - statements like that are what fuel the likes of Tommy Robinson who think spreading lies and terrorising 12 year old boys bullied at school makes them National heroes. There are plenty of other platforms where your bigoted views are welcome.
Why all the hate for Rees-Mogg? I'm Australian so don't know all the nitty gritty details, but he's always struck me as one of the more decent people in politics. He may be upper class, but I've always felt a sense of humility from him, and the (now all but abandoned) understanding that the government (and the nobility before government existed) has a duty & responsibility to the people, to govern in their interests, not rule over them with an iron fist. If there's legitimate reason to not respect Rees-Mogg I'd like to know about it, but up till now I've only seen vague tribalistic dislike and general animus because he's not a leftie.
You want to listen to 4 minute talk of inflation he created...with absolute pleasure? Understood - exemplary crowd with our which they'd never succeed.
LOVE JRM !! Please have him back again very soon and for a much longer time. I concur with the comments made by others .... A joy to listen to, intelligent and calm.
And that's the problem. Even incredibly talented people like him have to pull their heads in, more than most, because he could inform people what is REALLY going on and they would know he is being honest, so his only alternative is to comply, which is exactly why he has gone quiet.
Lynx-O, jacob rees-mogg is for sure ‘ a man of the people “. Someone who experienced great hardship growing up in a working class environment, austerity for him was not something placed upon him by a conservative government, austerity was a constant way of life , the result is the enormous amount of compassion Jacob is so well known for , if yer believe this nonsense I’ve just wrote you’ll certainly believe Brexit is in Britain’s best interests,

@@retroarcade3342 he was the only one who represented us in the eu (the rest represented the eu) then he represented the majority in the UK by forcing the UK government to give us a referendum on the eu membership. sorry, what was your question again?
Jacob, we proud unionists in Northern Ireland have a lot of respect for you but we fear you're saying what we want to hear. Please don't let the EU and/or Sinn Fein IRA put more nails in the coffin of Ulster Unionism. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
NI is on its last knees because of the DUP and their shambolic stances on Brexit - couldn't make up their minds on it; half of them still think the world is 6000 years old! Ireland shall be united. And it will be largely thanks to the biggest and most hardline "unionist" party in northern ireland
I don't disagree with anything said. Objectively speaking, unionist parties have been complacent at best. I don't believe a 32 County Socialist Republic will be achieved but Ireland could likely become a country again in the next 75-100 years. Nationalists have been in the driving seat since Sunningdale and GFA. Long live the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland 🇬🇧

I would love to see Jacob as PM. He’s principled, consistent, honest and has a solid grasp of the issues faced by the common Brit despite opinions to the contrary. His classical liberalism is something that is desperately needed in today’s governance
I think that time came and went after we had the referendum and then there were those arguments within the Tory and Labour party trying to stop us leaving, but the Brexit party.... Well.........
JRM reminds me of Enoch Powell. A conservative who speaks his mind with alacrity, informed intelligence, cogent reasoning, and a smattering of decent humour; even in the face of the crappy dystopian world the globalists are creating.
@@adakennedy8491 I am sure Jacob is just quietly biding his time. He probably knows that by the next general election a very large percentage of the people of UK will wish for a 'true conservative' leader; anything to get away from this madness that is enveloping our lives. It will be good riddance to Johnson, Gove, Hancock, Jenrick etc...
Ian Graham a man of principle and values , unlike the rest of them, no skeletons hidden in cupboards if there was, Johnson and the rest would be leaking them to keep him away from the top job, highly educated but able to speak in terms everybody can understand. I agree he may be biding his time however, by the time this bunch you refer to have finished so will the public be with the Conservatives, a frightening prospect to let Labour in.
