I know this is an old thread but I made the pancakes from Nigellas recipe here, and it's come out bready like, rather than soft floppy pancakes. I made one batch and then added the ingredients of another batch to it, but only added 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp sugar and 15g of butter to the 2nd batch, but then both were mixed together! If anyone would know why this happened, I'd appreciate it. It's not like they're not edible, they're just more bready🤷♀️ Thanks😊
I’d try to replicate the recipe for Worcestershire sauce but substitute soy sauce or miso paste for the fish, to bring that umami. So soy sauce or miso, apple cider vinegar, a touch of molasses, garlic and onion powder, cloves, mustard powder, black pepper, bit of ginger. Consistency of the final product should be quite thin.
Tasty food is a gift of God, the greatest, free gift is heaven to those who believe God Jesus died n arose on the 3rd day. C Living bread in Google....
The kids had golden syrup which is a uk sugar cane byproduct. It looked like deep rich maple nigella had on the side in the earlier shot in the American style pourer. Maple syrup the real deal and not derivative is quite a strong taste for some kids in the UK I imagine. The darker the shade the more slightly bittersweet the syrup tends to be.
