South African forward is very dangerous . Good technique skills . Most dangerous player on this field . Congrats South Africa 'cause Nigeria is not an easy team to beat!!!
Funny statement, how many times have u beaten the Nigerian women’s team 💁this was even the first time to score more than 1 goal against 💁u guys should be farming and stop football
As far as I am concerned, the super falcon is not flat, not down and out. The lesson from this match is a mixture of the old players with the new players needed going forward. The old players will help the new players to build grit and confidence. It is also important to have a consistent coaching crew that will be with the team for a period of 4-5years. This is what South Africa enjoyed today. Super Falcon is a familiar foe to them remember Ghana, Cameroun vs Nigeria. Let them overhaul but experience you cannot dispense with.
There's no word of encouragement from anyone... Nawa oo This is just the first game and you've condemned them that much... It isn't over yet... We can do better.
@@ejim-ezeemmanuel2503 you even lost 4-2 on your backyard to S.A. Now as S.A we are African Champions but keep telling yourself that you don't lose to S.A. we are fine with that.
The super falcons played better but the South African defenders are something else.. They are very strong and physical. I predict a likely Nigeria south Africa final
Good game by both side, the South Africans made the best of their chances, the Nigerian defense wasn't as tight for a team that decided to gamble a lot on overlapping but in all the Nigerian players are more skilled. As games played in the tournament increases, I expect the Nigerian side to start seperating themselves from the other teams. I predict a South Africa and Nigeria final and Nigeria winning the cup.
Lol... I predicted wrong. I couldn't predict that Nigeria would be playing the semifinal with just 9 players. I guess you are from South Africa ? If so congratulations on your 1st female CAF championship, job well done, you guys were the best in the tournament. Now, you need 9 more to catch up to Nigeria.
@@OlayinkaOgundipe Nigeria just needs a strong women's league & then it will be be the old Nigeria we knew wining wining but our government are so short sighted good luck next time good man
Well Banyana Banyana deserves to win this game;; they were all over Nigerian girls;; sweet revenge for the men's national team;; thanks to our ladies to put a smile in our faces again;; we don't care wether Nigeria will come back or not;; we (South Africans we are happy).
Lol the same thing happened in the last tournament you beat Nigeria in the opening then Nigeria beat y'all at the finals.. we pull up when it matters the most, trust me we're taking this one too making it 10 out of 12 .. show some respect
@@igweohannaemeka4077 you are talking about penalties, banyana banyana beat them fair and square in ABC cup final and now we did it again nothing you can do even if we meet again we'll do the same 😀😀😀😀😀
@@nkosinathimduduzi7605 man do ur research very well , Banyana Banyana rarely win Nigeria. When did u start watching match go and check ur head to head
The Nigeria super falcons need total overhaul of the team. Some of the players are old and need to be retired for the younger ones to takeover. U can't expect a different results with some of this aged players. They have tried by winning the trophy for so many times. The coach is even another problem.. the coach has no play pattern, no good selection and team setup. Right from the beginning of this match u will find out the difference between when player are playing as a team or as individuals. Nigeria super falcons where not coordinated at all. You can read the game right from the first ten minutes of play to know. Nigeria have good players that can give us the results we want but they are been kept aside due to some politics in the system. The likes of ngozi okobi, Anam imo and so many of them that the recent coach has not even tried. He always use same people everytime and expect a different results which is not possible. I believe this will be an eye opener for him because he might lose his job if nigeria doesn't win trophy and qualify for women world cup. Nigeria have good players that are more better than what we are seeing in the pitch but the politics in the system is the problem. God helps u.......
Nigerians n their quick to judge mentality.. this is just the first match n u are already calling for a total overhauling..besides not all the players there are old.. atleast let's see the outcome of the competition befor we can talk.. besides to me they didn't play badly. They had more possession n shot on goal
Oga it’s not about the players being old … these old players have won us trophies upon trophies..so put some respect on their name … Btw they actually played well … I think this is a coaching error … nothing wrong with the players at all.
white man as a caoch dose it mean we don't have people in Nigeria who can coach our football team. how many African people do coach in Europe when African we wake up and value what day have????
@@nkosinathimduduzi7605 ok na!, don't be too excited, is 🇳🇬Nigeria u are dealing with. Is better to lower ur expectations so that when it happens u won't be hurt soo much 😂. Nigeria is full of surprises.
Rita Chikwelu and Onome wbu No suppose dey this Team. These are very old very slow players. For Experience, get players from U20 Falconet, they are very good especially Sebastian Florence and the young dynamic defenders and Midfilders. Watch how they qualified for the Wcup
@@nenitafrica6851 Too early to make that kind of assessment on a coach. This is just one match played and lost. You're raining down too many heavy subjective criticism over just one match. Be patient with the individual players, the coach, and the entire team.
Amaju! Amaju Melvin!! Amaju Melvin PINNICK!!! If you needed University Lecturers to coach this team, why waste the resources going to the United STATES? Whereas you could get them here from all the Universities scattered all over Nigeria. Don't we have Unibadan, Unilag, Uniport, Unical, Uniben, Ile Ife, and all the rest? This man you brought has proven that he knows next to nothing about football, neither does he know the rivalry that exists between Nigeria and the South of Africa. Have you asked him what his game plan was for that game? I know he would say there are no easy teams anymore like Gernot Rorh used to say, but not losing to South Africa again after the Aisha Buhari cup loss to the same team. Mr Waldrum should not be allowed to continue in the next match, he should be shown the exit door before teams like Burundi or Botswana come disgrace the defending champions.
@@frederickanderson7763 i am happy a Nigerian condemned tribalism and dirty politics which destroyed most of African states, even here in South Africa i see that nonsense from Xhosa tribe, they are slowly using dirty politics to fulfill their tribalism towards Zulu people, of which is very dangerous once the civil unrest ignited.
Nigeria will still win d tournament. It's always better to lose at d beginning Dan In d semi's or finals. No African team can dethrone d falcons. Naija will still defend Dia title. Bayana Bayana had 2 attempts on goal which resulted in Dia 2 goals.D falcons will win d remaining 4 games to lift d title again in Morocco
Your falcons are aging. Have you heard of an "eagle rebirth " Before you can go back to your glory days you will have to go through the process of building a younger squad. When countries were improving their female soccer, you guys went to sleep. It will take you a decade to go back to your glory days, just like Manchester United
This is most likely how the quarter-finals will be set up. Morocco v.s Botswana in the quarter-finals, most likely. Morocco topped group A, with nine points they get to play the third-placed team from group B or C. Won't be Tunisia, leaving Botswana as the third-placed team from Group C the only option. Zambia V.S Senegal. South Africa V.S Tunisia and Cameroon V.S Nigeria. Morocco and South Africa gets to play the third-ranked team from groups A and C. Zambians Ranked third in overall points get to play the Second-ranked team from group A and Cameron and Nigeria ranking equally get to pay each other. That's how it works I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. I just came up with its theory logically. Not an expert on how it works. Just using logic.
Guys what did u notice when Evelyn the female women is couching the team falcons than now, that time this same falcons play with confidence, coordination, skills, smarter than any other opponent, but Nigerian later came with corruption problem with that female coach Evelyn an refuses to Pay Evelyn her remaining salary that s why them ask her to resigned because she ask for her money for the good achievement she brought to nigeria 🇳🇬 football. Ever since then this team began to go back, if u watch well u will see that this team has never won this trophy 🏆 through penalty when Evelyn is managing this guys, but corruption causes nigeria to throw that lovely coach away, now we are facing the music 🎵,
Same here in our country with the boys, I don't know is it corruption or what, but our level of playing soccer is very poor, we don't even know who is our star player, but at least the ladies are bringing the joy once again. Our problem as Africans we are poisoned to not believe in our own, we rush for foreigners to coach us as if we don't have the best,, I'm heartbroken of this things, I hope one day things will change for everyone in this beautiful game.
It appears we Nigerians are unnecessarily selfish. If another country won the tournament what's wrong with that. This uncomplimentary comments about our girls and coach is not worth it.We should rather support and encourage them.We cannot win the championship for ever. It's because of this unnecessary pressure and sentiment that made the Nff to sack Rohr thereby paving way for Ghana to beat us.What many of us did not know is that football is more than what we lay people know it simply put has gone scientific. We should be patient and not just emotional unnecessarily.
This south African girls have beaten the falcons back to back with the same coach. The Nigerian coach lacks technique and pattern - No game plan. The players are too heavy with no cordination. When it matters most, youth will prevail against experience. The Bayana girls are younger, energetic, tactical and determined as usual. Our players lack purpose and intelligence. The substitutions came too late. The team needs a total overhaul.
That coach need to go, when Evelyn is managing this team no country ever beat them like that, but corruption causes nigeria to throw that lovely female coach Away now I hope they will regret about it,
The main goalkeeper is not there, she had two yellow during qualification, so she has to miss this game, Oshoala and the is the reason we lost this match, Oshoala bring bad energy to this team, she feels too big playing and destroys the molar of the team whenever she plays for Nigeria, the next person is the coach, he waited for 83 minutes before making a substitution in a team that is two goals down
Apart from finding fault on our goalkeeper what else can you do ? You think is easy. Before any African country can reach the height and achievement of super falcon it will definitely take them more than 4 decades. Stop complaining unnecessarily...
I say it, ever since I watched this white man that managed this team, no football pattern. No skills. No game plan. An even go on an managed to win 🏆 by penalty in 2018, that s when I know that this lovely team the pride of Africa 🌍 is going down backwards, that new coach doesn't deserve to be there, oshola keep doing the same mistakes she did at 2018 face to face with keeper she still continued to use oshola, berca notice this that s why them don't use her regularly anymore because her mistakes s too much, how can u be running faster than the ball itself u gonna fall, so this new manager is gonna go, he came in an change falcons game from good to bad
He is not the coach that won the 2018 trophy, he lefts when the players and the FA had problems, that was the reason we didn't qualify for the Olympics, the old coach is coaching Indian u17 now.
@@lobor339 That is not true, if Oshoala had utilised the chances she had in the first 20 minutes, South Africa couldn't have settled, but he and the coach messed up the match, falcon had 7 shots on target by managed to score just one while south Africa had two and scored the two, again if the coach is not into gambling, why did he refused to make changes even when Onumonu and Oshoala are not in the game, and only make changes in 83 minutes, there are better players on the bench than in the field, why did he remove Ohale from the right-hand side where south Africans are majorly operating from? Playing long ball to Oshoala is what the coach told them to do
Falcons lost due to old age! Bayana Bayana are quicker, smarter and younger! The likes of Onome Ebi (38yrs) and Rita Chikwelu (33yrs) have been playing for Nigeria since 2003 and 2004 respectively. While the likes of Osinachi Ohale and Francisca Ordega have been there since 2010 and 2012 respectively!
Do you see stupid Nigeria mentality that you have?I have it before na property black man black brain.you will see how this your Nigeria will be a story of the past come 2023.

@@ntamichael9343 Pause the video at frame 8:26. The defender on the right kept the South Africa forward (the goal scorer) in play. The Nigerian coach and the entire player did not complain about an offside. VAR did not alert the referee of an offside. The lineman's flag was not up. Nobody on this forum complained of an offside. Do you know why? Because there was no offside.
I have watched more than ten times and even took the picture. The VAR was not used and the lines women were not competent with a bad officiating from the referee. Nigeria scored that same goal against Ghana in the world cup playoffs and it was declared as offside. The officiating was questionable
