My kids are still having PTSD from our last trip to Naija at this same airport. We landed at the airport with 10 pieces of luggage, and the guy in plain clothes made us to give him money so as not to have the customs search our luggage.

The last time I went to naija I have to pay for two army officers to help me get my two luggage they took from me.. they made every single person in that department stop whatever they were doing both movements until they brought my luggage back and they brought them back so it’s been that way all years bro 😎 that country is a criminals enterprise everything in that country is dead ☠️ no hope anymore

I was following along till the whole Biafra conversation came in. I believe Biafra should be a subject of referendum and not an annexation of the south-south region as well as the middle-belt of Nigeria. The reason why Nigeria is not working is the same reason Biafra may fail. Same technical reason you gave.

Which Biafra? Even within Nigeria can even the SE states alone work k together on anything? Are they collaborating on food security,, security, transport..... Anything? I traveled to Nigeria in 2020. I had such distress in and out that airport. Workers expected money, from each section of the Airport and outside with money changers!! Horrible Airport Experience. Travel and tourism business will not work in Nigeria until they get new Airport Management!

Bro, i do not know when last you flew into Nigeria, the truth is that the Airport has been renovated and all those things that used to happen before is not happening anymore, it now takes you less than 10 mins to go thru immigrations, i do not know how 3 laptops was stolen from ur friends bag because i fly into that Airport from Ireland every 3 months and i always have Laptops in my hand luggage where it is safe, if anybody leaves his or her laptop in a check in bag then na u do yourself
It is so sad how we are constantly insulting ourselves. We are our own worst enemy. How can we move forward as a people with such an attitude? These laptops could have been stolen at any airport, which is why it is safer to keep them on you. Yes, the system is corrupt, but there are also good Nigerians who have contributed greatly to this country. Whether we like it or not, we are Nigerians. Let us stop insulting and hating on each other and rather be result driven. Film the workers that are asking for money and report them on social media. Call out individuals who are doing wrong and stop tarnishing all Nigerians with the same brush. We need to live in the hope that one day Nigeria will get better. If not for us, then at least for our future generations.
@@FreddyPateki Yes you are right i meant to say terrible people working at the airport-From top to bottom the last time i was there 2023 at the baggage claim carosel i toke my luggage and a lady porter asked me if i needed a troley i said yes i asked her how much she said 10 euros just for troley. I told her to fukc off as i have 2 strong hands and legs and my luggage has tyres.
Everyone knows what Lagos is, literally Agbero headquarters . Why do you keep going there? Do you prefer gra-gra or something? Headaches and Lagos are like 5&6. That city actually prefers chaos. Since they started doing flights straight into Abuja. I've never flown through Lagos. The country did not need to be divided for me to have a good Abuja airport experience on numerous occasions. People that scream divide divide don't actually know what they are saying and can never explain how that is a remedy..
My Brother you said the truth but today’s Media awareness is helping a lot, we must be speaking out, making Videos, getting their Faces online, it will do a lot, it happened to me 2015.very sad, at the Emirate’s checking Stand at Muritala Mohamed Airport, Emirate workers , 2 Men, one is Yoruba and the other Igbo,removed one page from my International Passport because I refused to give them Money, I ended up not allowed to leave, I had to go back to Alausa the next day to obtain a new Passort , I waited another 3 Days before I went back to Europe where I live🙈

They did it to me in Abuja airport and I missed my flight to London. Because of bribery and corruption about my luggages . I bought another new ticket the next day. I caused them including their boss. They are all same . Shame and pity
I've been to the Turkish airport, and it's heaven compared to the Nigeria airport. Nigeria is gone, and there's no solution at sight. I even caught NDLEA official trying to steal money from my bag.
