I cant use that big bow? I can only shoot from the small ones, unless I have the tech? TRM: Yes Robotic arm and kidney transplant, in a cave, without metal tools, using some plants as antiseptic? TRM: Yes That's just plain stupid.
Wait... You're telling me you have a mod, which randomizes the tech you research and then installed a mod which disabled your colonists from using weapons which they haven't researched?
Yea i dont like the mod that limits the weapons you can use because you dont have the tech for it because it really lowers the rimworld feel Also it is unrealistic you can just learn how to use the weapon
Been watching you since you transferred from league to more of a variety and I can say Rimworld is one of your best games. Also you just make everything interesting.
Bro seriously keep this going, it’s honestly become one of my favorites at only 3eps. I also really would like to see your mod list if you could like you did before where you went over your mod list and gave a short description of what they do.
Definitely interesting and awesome man! This game seems pretty sweet and I might get into it. If you can show more in depth stuff about hunting, gathering, crafting, planting, etc that would be sweet- I like seeing the life skilling stuff. If not, that's fine too!
You can easily watch his earlier series where he learns a lot of the game mechanics transparently. But don't get too involved into the story's, most of them just stop after 2 EPs because he is experimenting with mods and mechanics all the time and doesn't seem to care much about finishing a theme.
Yaaaay!!! My favourite white headed 3 tails blood sacrificing psychic luciferium-addicted thrumbo enslaving noble fox-girl demigod is back! Thank you rainy man from the sky!
In itself I'm always team continue/finish but I'm not sure what I want from this series as, like you said, it's a little chaotic and random with all the swapping and moving. Although I have to say I like the fresh approach of a more nomadic playstyle and would, if I have any say in it, love a playthrough that feels like Mount and Blade (maybe with Rim War) and nomadic moving around and collecting colonists and eventually settling down in the dream spot and from there building a decent fortress and getting into the lategame.
I had the same fear with Freya Fierce but there are 2 versions of that storyteller. The one with the blue facepaint (that comes with the vanilla expended mod) does NOT limit your technology. Only the one with the red facepaint (which is its one mod) does
Furthermore instead of random research you should give pawns choose research a try. Multiple things can be researched at once based on the stats of the pawns while still having the random aspect
Would deffinately prefer to see this campaign continue. I'm here for the drama of struggling against extremely tough enemies and random research. Where every raid could be the last in a bitter fight to the end. And if you survive, start to turn it around, take over other settlements and embark on a campaign of world conquest until you hit a critical mass of runaway strength and become unstoppable. Assuming you're able to survive that long. Kawaii Waifu shall become the queen of rimworld or die trying.
The rimwar mod does not allow raids to spawn, the parties on the map are the raids, and if allied parties kill those raids before they get to you then they never show up. You can check the destination of any party by selecting them. Storytellers only change the environmental events and animal/crash landed events.
Luciferium users also have their value increased, if I'm not mistaken. I'd recommend you load up Scar Removal Plus so you can remove scars via Glitter Tech, rather than by creating more Luci Junkies.
Finish this one but go for a different goal like capture the revian capital or something Btw still waiting for the modlist And for the next colony can you try to use more "radical" mods like the one with oil the Z axis mod maybe go for like a industrial colony i duno
It rains when theres a lot of fire on the map. Cuz it causes a lot of lag if the fires get too big. And it would also literally burn the entire map down.
Hey i just wanna say that i really enjoy all of your rimworld series idgaf if you restart or not, a tip for future playthroughs is maybe lowering the difficulty because i think as of right now it restricts your gameplay a little to much for my taste. Maybe wealth independant difficulty.
I think a fresh start would be a good idea, using the same mods by all means but I think axing the OP characters a bit. Not only because of their combat power but because of the wealth issues. It just seems more of a ball ache than actually fun, making you almost gimped by choosing cool characters? But I’ll watch either way ^_^
Why not wall in the insects while they sleep? It'll take awhile to get the walls safely built as each one will wake them up. But once the outer layer is done you'd just need to add stronger layers around it then set them alight? After first layer I think they won't actively try to break out, it'd just be random mining occurrences. If you get it all prepared before a raid happens then the surviving insects that go after you will even aggro on the enemy raiders. This will take time of course unless you can time when a raid will spawn say as a quest for example. But can make dealing with the insects a lot easier.
the became neutral when you took out the Viking base, you might want to look at the reverse engineering mod to learn how to make thing you find but can't use
Just watched these back to back, gotta agree with a lot of people that the weapon limitation mod is a bit of a hefty drawback. I'd say remove that and just go with the head cannon of not using advanced levels of weapons (such as firearms and above) until you research them. Cause honestly, unable to use a club or great bow because of random tech selection while pulling a Tony Stark with a hyper advanced kidney surgery is a bit stupid and sort defeats the purpose of limiting your weapon tech...
I would love to see this series continue. one of the reasons why I stopped watching your M&B banner lord series is because you keep on restarting your series, and I kinda lost interest when that happened
Yeah... Sadly I think I am not going to get involved in his story's any more, coz I like some stability and a real end somewhere. Startet playing Rimworld for myself again. Works out OK.
Honestly the feature where you can only use weapons you've researched is already a huge nerf but couple that with random research? Masochistic behavior right there lmao
Why did you make it so that you cant use items you dont research Doesnt that break immersion? I personally wouldn't use it but also it might be good for balance
