Thank you Joy. 😂 This ride was before I was diagnosed, which seems a long time ago now. 👍I do intend to ride right up to my op though. 🤞

I do like riding in the dark. Don't do it enough any more. For decades I used to do a 50 mile + night ride every week with my cycling buddy in all weathers. Admittedly it was not on gravel, but it was sometimes known to be on black ice and snow.......Or through flood water. That was before cycling became cool again, and when bike lights weren't as good as they are now. We had NiteRider lights imported from the USA with 2 big NiCd battery packs. (my friend was a bike dealer) And cars would pull over thinking we were another car. Great times.

Thanks Bunkie, this was a little while ago now, it was great fun. 🚴👌🚴 I'm staying occupied and as fit as I can before the op in 10 days time. 😊 Hopefully the fitness will help me recover well. 🤞🤞🤞

Cracking ride - and 30 odd miles after work is pretty good going if you ask me - that's a full day's ride for me 😂 I trust that was a gravel donkey you rode on that occasion Mike, and not a road one... I never knew that about the radar pointing inland as well, but it makes perfect sense when you think about it! Great stuff - I hope all is moving in a positive direction off the bikes too 👍

Not sure if it was tubeless or not? You're right but for some tubeless is quite daunting. There are very few tubes on rides now and we haven't had a major "tubeless" incident for some time. Modern tubeless is good 👍
