Before watching this video I thought everyone in the USA has no dishes to wash, applies 7 layers of serums, has a huge blush toned and white apartment with huge walk in closet full of beautiful clothes, and drinks matcha, eats avocado and wears those thin layered necklaces.
I spent most of my 20's commuting from NJ to Manhattan. I then moved to Manhattan but still had a 45 minute subway commute within Manhattan. Commuting my 20's away is one of my biggest life regrets. I missed so many hours of life. I missed so many hours with my dad, who is now dead. I can never get that time back and the slightly higher salary you make working in NYC disappears because the cost of living is so high.
No point living in regret. You got to live in one of the best cities in the world and sadly commuting is a fact of life in most places in the world. A 45-min commute is standard, if not short in my city.
I just randomly somehow ended up on your video and I'm so glad I did. We need more of these realistic videos of "normal people in a normal life" :-). I struglled a bit few years back when i was following all influencers and all perfect posts.. haha... I do not have any social medias now, however I do keep youtube, but trying to use it wisely, same with Pinterest.. It can get out of hand easily :D Thank you so much for this video and keep it going please :-)
WHAT...you don’t have a glass of hot lemon water and then write in your gratitude journal to set your intentions for the next day! Girl your doing you tuber routine all wrong!! Lol
Thank you for having a REAL night time routine video. I feel like I watch so many fake ones where they end up advertising a product and meditating with essential oils.
wow you have a very similar routine to mine. Live in London UK, go to the gym after work then straight back home. Shared flat with ghost flatmates and then dinner, tv, self care etc
Also with the cleansing, just a suggestion. Bioderma and vaseline first and the milky cleanser later. This ensures that the makeup is off first and the residue or oil or miccelar water is off with the jelly cleanser :)
Girl you can take that bowl to the next level with Dal/beans/lentil gravy! This is basically what Indians eat everyday :) vegetables, rice/bread and Dal
Wow I really really love this routine. Instantly subscribed. I'd have a little tip, next time try adjusting the volume of the music to the, volume of your voice over, I think headphone wearers will appreciate it :) I am looking forward to your next videos!
I love your voice..its so calm and makes me feel relaxed, and I just love watching ur vids after a warm shower and just snuggling up in bed at night! I wish you all my support. remember, you make so many souls happy every single day and INSPIRE young people to old...first to last...just stay you, be you ,love you
I hope you get some roommates that would want to have dinner all together. I'm an introvert, but my best roommate situations were when we could hang out for at least 30 mins after the day had ended. Doesn't have to be excessive. You seem like a dear. I wish you the best. 💖 Very nice apartment, too. Loved your plants in the window. 💖
You're awesome. I live in London and all I'm able to do after work and commute home is to microwave a ready meal and fall asleep watching TV. Every single day for good two years now 😒
I don’t normally comment but coming from a threapist of 30years experience I’m so glad you do you skincare routine I love seeing it be done . It makes me happy x But some .. a advice switch your cleaning products around . Think of the Bioderma to take the outside world off all the pollution and dirt , then use the milky cleanser to cleanse the skin . Xxx

I happened to come across this video, super relatable. Thank you! I enjoyed the video and would really like the veggie stir fry recipe and the link to where to find those glass containers you used for your lunch. The stir fry looked simple yet really yummy and would love to try it.
Aw thank you I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! And you're totally right, I forgot to post the stir fry recipe! Here it is! buildyourbite.com/stir-fry-vegetables/
I’m one of those people who would eat in her room, but I think it’s better to eat in the kitchen because you can connect with other people in your home that way.
Wow! You are so strickt with your Routine and it seems you are so relaxed at the same time🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Since i dont Look on Screens, 30minutes before sleep, i sleep so much better. That is a Typ, i got from a Yoga Center, when i could Not sleep Well, it did wonders
Lol, a suggestion, you might want to set that open container in the oven, microwave, or light towel over it so no "tiny critters" try to get inside your food. No matter how clean a place is, you'll be surprised.
Great video:) I love seeing peoples morning and evening routines. Especially people with fulltime jobs like me. The only downside (but idk if that's just my phone...) was that the music was always super loud so I had to turn the volume down but the when it stopped I couldn't hear you speak... so I was pretty much constantly changing the volume:D other than that great video!:) xoxo from Germany
I loved this video, right up until I realized this isn’t very safe. You shared what subway you’re taking, the grocery store on the way home. What’s outside your window (and therefore major clues to which house is yours). Evil doesn’t need a reason, but don’t tempt fate and give it a roadmap to your front door.
I liked your video. Just showing how you live and work. I like to watch videos about NYC. Did you post the recipe for the stir fry. It looked really good. Thank you.
Ahhh I do NOT miss running through the train station after work and all the congestion, especially during the summer when it’s unbearably hot...although I do miss working in the city itself (I’m in NJ now and don’t want to commute lol). Thanks for posting this, reminded me of the “good ol’days” :)
In my country house help is very much affordable, I can't imagine to do cooking cleaning and washing after work and still my lazy night routine is just to wash my face , change into PJs and moisturize and even that only in winter. In summers just a good wash and rose water spray and I am done.
I am from the Caribbean and I love to watch these type of vids. I notice most of these vids the person that is making the videos doesnt bathe after work. Is that a norm in the states? Cuz where I am from, we always bathe when we get home from work.
Because most are very nasty & always smell musty!! I work in corporate and their hygiene is horrible!! My bf is caucasian and he does the same! I have to LITERALLY tell him to shower after work!🤦♀️
Slo Slo ok that’s a good idea! How do you use it? Do you cleanse and then use the oil or use it as a cleanser? Do you wash it off after? Appreciate your opinion! Thank you! ☺️
Taylor Morello I use it as a cleanser alone. Put warm water on a pad (helps to melt the oil) then put some oil on it and wipe make up off easily and naturally. Don’t wash the oil off and it helps the skin. I’ve heard Vaseline creates a barrier on the skin that doesn’t allow moisture in. All the best and God bless you!
Hi Taylor. Very nice video. Im new to the 9-5 world and have previously worked on a freelance basis which gave me a lot of flexibility to set my schedule. Im struggling to find energy to do my to-do list after I get home from work and do the housework. Im usually too tired and feel like going right to bed. Do you have any tips for me to overcome this?
ABC Writing Services hi! I totally know what you mean. 9-5 work can be very draining and the last thing you want to do at the end of the day is more work! My advice would be that when you first get home, give yourself an hour or so to just relax, eat dinner, watch TV, whatever makes you happy. Then after that you’ll feel more motivated to get the other things done!
I’m always curious what people who work 9-5 jobs do. I’ve never had that kind of job. I waited tables for 10 years and now I work 3 12 hour night shifts at a hospital.
Can you please tell me what ap you used on your iPhone for the grocery list in the beginning of the video? I have never seen that one before and it deletes when you check it? I have an iPhone . Thank you! Stephanie from Dutchess County NY! 😁❤️
Did I miss it somehow, did you shower and wash off the grime of the day, especially after using the subway? Maybe you showered after your skincare routine?
How long is your commute? If I get mr bus at 9.04 I can be at my desk for 9.30! I live in Belfast Northern Ireland .Would like to see how you spend your weekend where do you go to socialise?
Paula Petticrew it’s about 45 minutes or longer if the trains are delayed! 30 minutes sounds not so bad, and Ireland is beautiful!! Thanks for watching! ❤️
