The beauty of street photography, lots of unexpected encounter, most of the time really nice one, rarely agressive. Especially when not stealing shots but nicely asking and spending time with people. I agree with you, not always easy to get out of the couch and go outside to shoot, but we feel so good afterward! Rejuvenating most of the time. Thanks for your videos, its's cool. Let me know if you stop by LA one day ;-) My IG: sidewalk_by_tj
What camera system do you suggest for night street photography? I used to shoot with 5D IV @1/50,f2.8,iso6400. Now I want something super cheap and super light. Kindly advice.
Love your videos, especially ones like this. Could you please list the camera specs so we could get a better idea of how you took each picture! KEEP IT UPPP Again.... doooope videossss!
@@Sabgee123 I love my 50 mm 1.8 but honestly for street photography, I'd recommend more wider lens like 35 mm because most shots that are close I can't get with my 50 mm
Hey Pierre. I’m an up and coming photographer, and I just wanna say that your videos have taught me sooo much. Please keep doing what you’re doing, you’re awesome man 🙌🏽
I like that you mentioned setting the exposure compensation down. I recently started setting my exposure comp to -1EV ... and I also changed from spot metering to full-screen metering.... because my camera (Sony a6300) in A priority mode wanted to bump up the ISO and blow out the highlights at the same time. My results were blown out noisy images before I switched these settings. Bringing up the shadows 1 stop in post doesn't introduce nearly the amount of noise that high ISO in camera gives me.
Oh awesome! So glad this helped then :) :) Just published the new video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cNLKP2hP54A.html Enjoy! Have a great day :)
Pierre T. Lambert Thank you for replying didn't think you'd see this. I'm planning to do some vlogging and night photography then maybe some promotional videos too
I like your way of being, simple, cheerful and a tremendous artist and professional, each shot is a fabulous story that inspires and motivates us to grow and learn, congratulations for how great you are, a big hug for you, greetings !!

HI Pierre, i truly enjoyed your 10 minutes night street photography, the way you are just being genuine and trying to give the best information to your audience is absolute awesome , along with the details in the description, keep it up buddy, you are rocking : )
Low light / Night street photography is my favourite time to shoot the streets! My local city is pretty quiet, but luckily I have London just up the road! Love the colours in the video! I’ll find you on Instagram now.
I just watched this video (and subscribed) about an hour ago and then went outside and gave some of these tips a try for my first time shooting pics at night. And I came back home with a couple of shots I really like. Thanks!
Hey Charles! Wow thank you!! That's the best feedback ever, so happy it worked out :) ps: new video just dropped - it's hilarious! Enjoy!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3KFtC0pqjZs.html

Loved the video, loved your energy. The advice about using music to push you and inspire you was very good. Great idea. Another great feature to shot in lowlight is 5axis stabilisation. It can give you some stops on lens and this means sharper images and lower isos. I shot with a omd em5 mk2 and my night lens for street photo is the Samyang 12mm f2.0 24mm equivalent. That lens is NUTS. Full manual but not big of a deal, I prefer it cause it saves some battery.
Hey Nulrom!! Thanks a lot man! Music really can change your mood in a beat ;) Totally forgot about 5axis ibis you’re right! I have it and it’s insane as you mention! Definitely saves you a few stops :) See you in the next episode !
What a great video! My favorite time to shoot is at night. Anybody I think can shoot at night and set their ISO to 100-200 and get sharp images. The real challenge is keeping that ISO low at night. Keep it up my friend.
Hey man i just wanna say that your videos are really inspiring me! And i also kinda like your personality towards people on the streets like the people who are waving at your camera haha i just think you're a very very nice down to earth person! Keep on inspiring people man. Xx
Another brilliant video... And great reaction to those friendly interruptions... Ime on holiday next week so am going to give some of your good tips a go... 👏👏👏
This is one more crazy video. Raw and simple but creative in its own way. Now you just made me to go out and shoot more in night. Will tag you in those shots. ✌ Keep it way up!
I'll do a photo review soon! Thanks :) ps: new video just dropped - it's hilarious! Enjoy!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3KFtC0pqjZs.html
Night is my fallback for those cloudy days when there isn't any contrasting light. You can't go wrong with artificial light sources, as they are always on, always there, and they are everywhere you go in the city. I shoot Program Auto, with the ISO set at anywhere between 3200 and 12800, in order to drive the fastest shutter speed possible to freeze motion. I don't really worry about noise, as my Sony has excellent noise reduction built in.
Good video..i leave the tripod home unless it's going to be some planned project and i have a vehicle to put it back inside..bags,rocks,tables,ledges,etc,etc,and some imagination get some stable results..less is definitely more at night, and when you have a camera that loves the dark,it's even more fun..
Yeap! Nothing like night shots with a good low light camera :) Have a great day! PS: New video is out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eSHrFCj9axE.html enjoy :)
