Night Wing Mission 20220123 [Falcon BMS 4.35.3] 

Night Wing is a custom created Tactical Engagement mission build by one of our members using the BMS mission editing tools. The back story was to establish a BARCAP in predefined zones to block hostile bombers from striking blue land. Those bombers had some escorts which we lost one of seven pilots to. The rest succeeded in turning back or destroying about 16 bombers for a successful mission.
Loaded with 6 AIM-120's each in the Warhawk 1 three-ship flight, we quickly ran short only halfway through our 30 minute CAP time. Quick thinking wingmen turned to using guns on the easily targeted, though they were fast and hard to chase down. Non-engaged wingmen swept the area clear of high end fighters as we pushed the limits to the SAM network. Overall exciting and fun flight with great teamwork of all wingmen.
