Christmas Morning 1990. The year I got a Game Boy. I was 9, but very nearly 10 as my birthday is in January. A great day indeed. This may explain a little of my passion for video games.
This is so exciting. Reminds me when I was a kid opening the Gameboy Advanced SP. I played that thing for three days straight to the point I remember my body forced me to sleep after so long. Just amazing nostalgia.
This is so precious to see the happiness from back then and the joy from older gens. This world has gotten worse and this just makes me have hope for our world.
Those were the days, the times where we used to get excited and cry when we got new gaming consoles or games, now today there are a lot of eople that does not have respect for video games,i wish i could go back in time to my childhood
This video put a huge smile on my face, the happiness is so pure 😊 This is when Christmas was fun and getting the presents we wanted as kids made it thousands times better. Thank you for sharing your memories with us 😊
I remember getting a Game Boy for Christmas in 1994, but it was shared with the whole family (dad, sister, etc.). I got a few games for it (Kirby's Dream Land, Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge, Double Dragon, etc.). Until Christmas morning, I begged my parents for a Sega Game Gear. Oh well, a Game Boy is better than nothing :)
Damn, such an awesome and genuine joy about your great present. I love watching these videos because they always remember me of a great time in our life without any problems and just fun. Keep up your memory about this special event! :-D
So funny how we don't give a shit about clothes as a kid. You were almost crying with the Gameboy and then with the shirt....oh cool...*proceeds to toss it away* hahaha but then overtime we start loving clothes so much like beer or coffee :P
@@TheKiloMight I remember I was so excited to be able to play it portably because I used to play it on the NES all the time. Not to mention the deluxe features were a bonus!
I love these types of videos! If you gift a GameBoy to an 8 years old kid in 2020, he wouldn't accept it. He wanted the PS5, although he would only play fortnite. I give a HUGE *FUCK THIS SHIT I'M OUT* to these kind of children. They can't appreciate the gifts their parents give, and what if I tell you that they gave them the Gameboy because they had good memories with it and thought they were making their kids happy doing this? I feel like shit
"I'm not buying anymore game consoles," was my moms thing after the Gamecube and PS2. I was like, "Well, what if I bought one myself?" She said no. I made money and I buy consoles all the time. She laughs when I do. "Hurts, don't it?" "Yeah but it's fun as hell!"
Lol, I hate getting clothes for christmas. It may sound really ungrateful (because it is) but just seeing clothes when I open my gifts just disappoints me because I can get clothes when it isn't Christmas. But, I know my parents can't really afford any technology so I'm happy with what I get...
Did he get super Mario land for the gameboy ? Cause i have the same game on my gameboy pocket (came out in 1996 worldiwide but only in 1997 in my country)
yobelkcip's trash can Yeah, I actually let my kids play with it the other week. Looks like the display has a couple lines through it, but it's otherwise just fine.
nightram56 the ribbon cable that connects to the screen is a little loose and the glue is coming off a bit. That's why you got some lines on the screen. Very common problem with them I own a Game Boy and it had the same issue. There are some videos that teach you how to fix it and it's really worth doing!
