Nights End: a HTTYD 3 AU (+ Channel Update) 

Should I specify this is somewhat a re-post? I know not everyone is going to have read the status update that lead to this video so idk. Edit: so basically what happened is RU-vid decided to set the original video as ‘made for kids’ and I tried to get it appealed and it got rejected and is now permanently locked as ‘made for kids’ which sucks. So I decided I was going to repost it and maybe add something like my little vulgar speech at the end to prevent it from getting marked as ‘made for kids’ again. it kinda worked out because I had been meaning to make a channel update for a while, I also didn’t want it to just be a re-post so I added some unfinished stuff.

Dreamworks stole this precious moment from us and I will never forgive them for just going "Nah the other night furies are all dead lol". Especially considering there's a whole, y'know, HIDDEN world of dragons... Thank you for taking the time to make a reality we all deserved to see, even if it's an unfinished storyboard

This is the best AU I've seen on HtTYD 3. All the versions viewed before and after did not suit me. In a sense, it sheds light on the cause of the extinction of night furies - a single (paired) lifestyle and aggression towards other individuals. Toothless is not just jealous of the baby for Hiccup - he perceives him as a potential competitor. It would be even more charming if the baby fury was toothless - this makes a wonderful curtsey towards the book, where the original Toothless did not have a single tooth, and also explained why the little furies did not survive without parental care (and would also make the scene with Hiccup's bite funnier😅). I hope this idea will result in something weighty and beautiful🙏

I have seen quite a few fanfictions where Toothless gets with a female Night Fury, and some fanfictions had white Night Furies (Light Furies). i think you can actually get a more stable job eventually. you can try to do art commisons or such! though as a side job youd have to plan it right. then when you feel comfortable you can then move into that as a full job?
