Great episode. Thanks to your video, I went and dug up the issue from the DC Universe site. Besides being a very amusing story (a world where people take it seriously that Magilla Gorilla will play Dick Grayson's dad and Grape Ape will play Dick Grayson is superb) it was a solid noir story. Could you look up the Banana Splits and the Flash and others?

Hey, I really liked "A Monkey's Uncle" when I was a kid. Still, really liked this comic book. Of course that is probably largely also because of the flashbacks to his relationships with the bat family.

I loved all these crossovers! Partly because I'm a sucker for a crossover whomever it stars (I was reading Terminator v Robocop just yesterday) and partly because this particular series was so silly. I like a bit of silly too which in part explains how much I love this channel. Just so long as DC don't try making them canon...

Magilla Producing "CSI: Malibu" (7:10) and thus having access to to a Fully Functioning Crime Lab isn't wholly unbelievable... I recall from when the CSIs were still on TV it was discussed in several articles that the Devices in the Lab sets were not 'Props' but Fully Functioning Lab Equipment... as expensive as the devices are, apparently it was cheaper for the Studio to buy the actual device than to commission a 'faux-working' Replica

The original Hannah-barbera and DC comics characters crossover was in the new Scooby-Doo movies. With Batman,Robin,Joker and penguin appearing in two episodes. I still think one of the episodes should've had Riddler and Catwoman. In the first episode they name drop the Riddler.

Since you are in the Batman family here sometime I stumbled on something in my comics collection. It was the DC comicbook called "Hex" starring Jonah Hex in the future. What crazier he fight a future Batman and it's not Terry McGinnis! It happen in Hex issues 11 and 12. I thoughts the Hex comicbooks (which are crazy) and his meet up with this future Batman would be a great subjects to talk about. Love what you do. Keep it going. 'This is not an erotic werewolf movie'. There are such things? Were any ever on Mystery science theatre 3000? I learned something today. In Nightwing 75 I rather want to see Bea in the bar nursing her sorrows, when who should walk in but Shawn Tsang. Looking to do the same. Bea says 'I feel your pain girlfriend. This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.' I too have found, since I have had at times in my life to read from scripts, that you can get so used to the words you end up going too fast. Then you totally lose your place.

Regarding the Amalagam Comics, If you ever do an episode on them, I do have several issues of the mash-up comics as well as an issue of 'All Access' which was one of the additional tie-in comics. I'd be more than willing to scan them for you.
