I grew up with Led Zeppelin, Tool, Metallica, Danzig, and unless it was talked about on MTV, word of mouth from friends or in a magazine you didn't hear about it. I wish youtube had been around when I was younger. Of course then MTV became more about reality shows than music.

I liked Nightwish with Tarja, I liked studio albums with Anette (concerts were problem) , but Floor is really queen of the stage and I see, boys are very happy in this time.

i love the little things like Emppu giving Troy the horns up after his flute solo haha. Floor is awesome but don't forget to pay attention to the rest of they band, they are all awesome.

Emppu gives horns, because Troy made a mistake in the start of his tin whistle solo. That is why Emppu first glanced behind his shoulder and later shows horns, as to forgive and say that it didn't matter and give support, I think.

He walks past Floor in the beginning, touching her on the shoulder just before she sings. I heard her talk about how he does things like that in a interview, being the glue of the band!! He's just so cool!

Yah he makes sure to spread the love to everyone. He is so happy. I ve seen many shows with Floor. They seem so happy, everything just clicks now. They are wonderful. Please God let me see them once before they either dissolve as a band, or I won't be able to, for any reason.

Uhhhh - he also sometimes turns off her in-ear……. There is a little more behind that smile……. Early in Wacken 2013, you can see him turn it off, and then Floor fixing it. When he goes behind a few minutes later, she spins around so he can’t do it again as he passes!

What a beautiful and precious masterpiece. I'm referring to Music and FLOOR too, of course, LOL. One of the best songs produced in this world. Thuomas is the greatest poet of this generation and Nightwish is the Best Band on the planet. Marko is sorely missed, but the other members are brilliant too, the empu is incredible. And Floor... It takes my breath away when I think about floor... The best and most versatile of all time. What perfection, one of God's best creations. Hail Nightwish nation.

Aged 56 I'd somehow not heard of Nightwish or Floor until 2 years ago after a good friend kept pestering me to watch and listen to "The Poet and the Pendulum" live from Wembley 2015. Reluctantly I did not expecting to like what I heard having had preconceived ideas about symphonic metal but OMG I was blown away and have been ever since. Phenomenal band with all members masters of their craft fronted by the best vocalist that I have ever had the pleasure and privilege to see and hear 🙏😊👍❤️

You are not alone! Floor really has changed NW to the best as much as it could be possible. She is the most reason why now I need to watch their live performances daily. Floor is a luxurious lady and luxurious singer. There are really not too much people in the world of rock music who are so charismatic and could radiate so much positive energy from the stage and make you fall in love with her!

Three reasons why Nightwish is different from other heavy metal bands: 1. They have a female singer, and an amazing voice 2. The keyboard player writes most of their materiale, not the lead guitarist 3. They are smiling when they play

They Just have a compeltly different style, even floors „opera voice“ is much „rounder“ than tarjas. Tarja feels a lot more distinct to the rest of symphonic metal, while Floor has a more Mainstream sound, just very clean. She is also definetly more versatile than Tarja. Neither is better that are Just different. Thats why i prefer the Ghost love score with Floor but will always like Songs like nemo or end of all Hope with Tarja.

It's amazing to see how Floor is acting and singing at the same time. She really puts so much emotion in all their songs. It's just amazing how one person can sing all the notes!! When i found out Marco left the band I was so sad! He really gives the band some extra spirit with his amazing voice and guitar play! I just love Nightwish in every sense of the word! Thank you Tuomas for starting such a great band!

How can you spot one of the most magnificent bands out there? When the artists on stage have as much fun singing and playing their songs as much as the concert goers are having! Nightwish is one of hose bands that i have been a fan of since day one :) SO people IF you are lucky to see or hear that there is a Nightwish concert near you , do not hesitate just order your tickets because it is MAGIC every single time ! If you look for it, Emppu actually stops playing and jerks his head around to look at Troy when the latter flubbed those notes. I thought he actually looked startled. Then he grins and jerks his thumb over at him.

Nightwish has a powerful lyrical, and powerful sound. Love this band. I can see they love to perform, with such precision. Intense, goosebumps, and 😢

The more I see of Empuu, the more I love the wee guy. He's always up to something, engaging not only with the crowd, but also with the other band members, having fun, and all the while playing in his immaculate style.
