Floor does it very well. Great interpretation, clear diction, good rhythm. But it's a song written for Tarja and it's on a higher level because of the voice register. And also in the show

Tarja the queen. Her voice make Nightwish's songs special. Without her voice the song becoming just another ordinary metal song not symphonic opera metal.

Tarja's version for me, all the way. I don't get Floor's choice to sing contemporary voice for the majority of a song where there's an operatic chorus in the background...the chorus is more dramatic than the Lead vocals. If she was gonna sing Classically only a little, the bridge from 9:32-9:43 would've been better than the odd timings at 8:39 and 9:02. And the half-steps down at 6:38, and the three from 8:03-8:11 would've sounded better if they'd been a full-step down, or half-step up, but that's just me.

Thank you for the reaction. I just love Tarja`s powerful voice with such warm tone. Absolutely amazing singer. Floor has a wonderful voice, brighter and thinner, but beautiful as well. Please react to Walking in the air with Nigthwish and Tarja on her solo career with Supremacy (Muse cover) and Victim of ritual (original) in Woodstock 2016.

Tarjas voice it’s to rare, deep, dark, shine and amazing! I love Floors too, she’s the unic on who can sing old and new songs. A fact it’s Floor with After forever we’re in the tour, using clots very similar to Tarjas clothes

Awesome reaction ,cool to do multiple versions, shows that they're was someone who did the songs pre Floor feels like a majority of reactors have no clue that Wacken 13 was Floor singing Tarja n Anette songs n it took a couple years b4 they're was live Floor songs In my opinion n it's just my opinion this song along with Nemo that is almost comparable ....almost to all the songs Floor performs from the other 2 awesome singers this is why when I suggest to do an Anette song it's Bye Bye Beautiful because only Anette does it and the video is funny

I love it when people criticize and say for Tarya it's best to use End of an Era like that is the only thing out there. I don't know if you've noticed, but he is reacting to the song End of all Hope which is not on my blu-ray copy of End of an Era because she didn't sing it at that concert. Can someone tell me how the hell is he supposed to use End of an Era when the song is not on that concert?

And yeah, agreed: I always pick another concert instead of End of an Era, because in that concert Tarja's vocals just aren't as good as other 2004 and 2005 concerts. Sure, there's some good stuff in EoaE too, "Phantom of the Opera" was a good show. "Wishmaster" went pretty well too, although it seems I've marked myself to watch that rather from Taubertal Festival.

The sound quality from Buenos Aires 2018 was captured much better (it was for DVD purpuses). I think the keyboard solo has had the sound changed a bit but it was difficult to tell in the Wacken capture.

After the quality of the Wacken 2013 recording, I was really excited for Wacken 2018, but unfortunately the audio mix here was terrible. I do not recommend it for reactions. For NIghtwish live with Tarja End Of An Era from 2005 is best and with Floor Wacken 2013, Wembley 2015, Buenos Aires 2018 and Tampere 2015 are best in descending audio quality.

The concert at Wacken 2013 was released on DVD and the sound there was mixed in the studio. The video from Wacken 2018 is just a recording from a broadcast with raw audio directly from soundboard.

@@SokolRock I have seen other shows live-streamed directly from the board that sounded much better than this. The Warning a rock band from Mexico, that I like, did several live-streams when they were still unsigned from their house basement that sounded much better than this.

@@shuriken4852 The sound quality on broadcasts from festivals can be very different and it doesn't depend on the musicians and their team. Your example of a stream from the basement is completely incorrect, since in this case the sound is specially configured for an Internet stream. At festivals, musicians perform primarily for the audience who came to the concert, and the Internet broadcast is only a "by-product" of this show - sometimes the sound is improved by the sound engineers of the broadcast, but often it is just a raw sound signal intended for P.A. systems, but not for home listening.

@@SokolRock The basement livestream I talked about, by themselves the band easily figured out how to split the output and send one side setup for the monitors to properly hear themselves and one side setup for the livestream so it also sounds great on the Internet, really not that difficult with modern audio equipment. I suspect that Wacken just decided to stream as an afterthought and did not consult anyone with experience with this and just lazily sent the live audio setup to the Internet.

I very much dislike comparisons between singers, they're both amazing, and I can't believe there are people still whining about Tarja not being in the band when she's more than happy and successful on her own. I mean, get over it people. Floor is Nightwish's singer now and will be till the end of the band.

its great: we have some versions of this song, one with Tarja, one with Floor at least - and everybody can listen to what he appreciate more. We can have different preferences without any hate. I prefer Floors version for many reasons. Tarjas version is very good - also for me.

I think Tarja is an absolutely amazing singer, but the opera vocals all the time just get old. To me, Floor just brings so much more to every song. Also, her stage presence and energy are the best I have ever seen in a female vocalist.
