So lovely to hear the "unsung" voices, this is the "Last Ride" of the festival season. The interaction, Tuomas gets energy from the enthusiasm. Hvman :||: Natvre is the sequel to "Endless Forms", part three coming 2024... "You can't hurry love", the album wants to be as perfect as possible. Planet Earth and the people on it, evolving the music. Reaction channels, 5,000 reactions, this is how I discovered Nightwish. Tuomas doesn't mind the reactions, but listen to the whole album first, please. "Music is what feelings sound like". YES, absolutely, we feel it. A BIG thank you!
Thank you so much for the interview and the good questions! Tuomas’s advice = spot on . Do art/music because the thought of not being able to do it is unbearable - and the bit that music = emotions. I wonder what he would say in regards to stories. Like are stories how we tie the emotions together? Gah! I’ve gotten a chance to talk to him twice, but my mind goes blank and I forget what I want to say.
@@jessicakoster2543 Not a terrible idea, but at the same time I don't want it to feel like an interview....Nothing wrong if it IS an interview, but this would be more just a "chill hang out after the show"...don't want to make any of us uncomfortable if that makes sense?
I would like to talk to Tuomas so much, his songs hit me so hard every time i play them, and thats every day. Gonne see them in Antwerp in november, cant wait, hoping to speak to Tuomas, but thats just wishful thinking🙃
Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos and for your feedback. You know, there are many factors that affect my performance as an interviewer; I am not a native English speaker and this does not allow me to be as fluent as I would like. Most of the interviews I do are during festivals, so I interview several bands on the same day / weekend and I often risk confusing dates or other things, despite having a notebook with notes that I try to look at the least possible. For many interviews I have a maximum of 15 min. and in that case I have to check the clock all the time so as not to overstep. Some of the bands I interview are important to me, so there is a kind of anxiety and emotion that affect my performance. I have always been an insecure person and this still affects my interviews, doing interviews is a kind of therapy to face my insecurities. I don't get paid to do interviews, I do it for the pure love of music and to help the webzine I work with, my main role remains that of a photographer. My goal is to improve interview after interview. I hope to have your feedback in the future.
@@crix4e I would be nervous too Meeting NightWish, let alone the creator of it all. I meant no offensive if you took it that way. I have a million questions I would ask, but being 3 feet from them, I am sure I would forget every one. I am just so jealous you got to do it. So proud of you for facing struggles. Keep it up!
@@KevinHollisWI no offense at all 🙂 I just wanted to explain why I may seem imprepared. I will try to improve in this 🙂 I was lucky to have the opportunity to meet Tuomas, NW is one of the most important bands for me, so yeah, the tension was high.
