This is the song that made me fall in love with Nightwish, it was originally done with Tarja, and I listened to it so often. Now Floor has gotten her teeth into it, it is a whole new animal and even more amazing. I loved how much you guys enjoyed this one. Keep going, there are a ton more songs to blow you away :)
that was fun!! So, a little note about THAT note: it's Floor's Original contribution to the song. the original done with Tarja, features only Marco there at the end. :) ALSO that AMAZING end note on Ghost Love Score was ALSO Floor's contribution to the song. and it was a happy accident that stuck, she says. (I perfer the Buenos Aires recording with Floor of that song. really you were robbed of a more amazing end key and much more emotional audience participation despite Floor having the flu she somehow pulled that note off so very beautifully) I cant wait to see what you choose next for Nightwish! :D
@@jackskellington9570 honestly, the audio sounds fine. the video is kinda grainy (buenos Aires) But I can't fathom the hate for the recording, it's filmed beautifully and the audience sings the guitar ffs lol its hands down the best recording of GLS out there aside from the Paris 2018 one :D
The Scandinavian rock scene is just a behemoth of talent, originality and awesomeness, audrey horne, backyard babies, him, nightwish, crucified barbara and many, many more, methinks you should have a scandinavian week. 👍👍👍
@northern_lights nightwish is just not floor, she is a sum of the parts, troy is not scandinavian, they are employed by a band who originated from finland whom therefore are scandinavian, the leader of the band is finnish, they are based in finland, finland is a scandinavian country, oh my days 🇫🇮😂😂, to be fussy if you so wished they could react to over 100 songs before floor was employed, they have a history you know, i'm finnished now.
The first song I heard from them was Last Ride of the Day and from that point I was hooked. Being and OG metal head, I never really gave power or symphonic metal much credit. But damn, there's some good music in those genres. ✌
You are both so amazing and awesome!!! I won't overdo it!! Just want you to know I'm so happy to be a subscriber and I enjoy all your reactions! You both have such incredible energy together it's absurd!!! You guys make me want to party!! I mean all of this in the upmost respect! Always look forward to your new reactions!! Much love from Denver! Rock On!! 1😎🎸🎶👍🏻👊🏼❤
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! NIGHTWISH!!!!! You two crack me up!! Love the reaction!!! Yes, sooooo much great music out there! Thanks for your time, and see you on the next Nightwish Reaction :))
I am a Nightwish maniac. Maynard the Maniac. Thanks for the idea re- timezone, currency, passport etc.... Airspace of Floor is a no-fly zone! MARCOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! and then Floor lifts the note to the high frequency only dogs can hear!!!!???
Romanticide, performed by Floor, has become one of my favourite NW songs... she gives it the grit it so needed!! #PainInTheAsk - Nightwish - Song of Myself live at Wacken 2013 and Epica - Unchain Utopia official live, please and thank you! :)
I was still asleep when you guys released this since I live in Finland (The Nightwish country). Don't have time to read all preceding comments, but I totally agree with all the positive ones and totally disagree with the negative ones. I also like metal because there is so much variety within it to choose from. The only downside is that I don't have the time or energy to find & follow all those great bands/artists that I know are out there. So I focus mostly on heavy, power and symphonic metal with some exceptions like oriental metal (e.g. IGNEA, a band from Ukraine), folk metal (e.g. SAUROM from Spain) & progressive metal (e.g. Dream Theater). P.S. In case no one has already said this - you're so great together.
Loll! You guys are too funny. Thx for the shout out and letting me back in the car. Let the journey continue! Epica fans I’m sure their coming soon. Hint! Lol!
Great songs, but even better commentary afterwords! So true, what you have to say about all forms of music and art. Love you guys! Oh, next time you're on the road and want to do a full album review, in keeping with the concept album theme, you HAVE to go with Symphony X's outstanding album "Paradise Lost". You'll love it, from start to finish.
Floor usually nails things, if you haven't already notized. Her presence is so massive, everything she does is so powerful.Amazing voice and stature. But I also try to credit the whole band, I get so focused on Floor, for whatever reason....
You are right on! Some things are a hit with me, some aren’t. But I cannot say that what aren’t Is bad. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions, likes, and/or dislikes. It’s “ART” for Gods sake. F-- those people who are narrow minded. I personally really dig Nightwish as I liked the Moody Blues and ELO way way back in times when there wasn’t even the old 8-tracks out!
You need to get a top hat before next year when Nightwish tours their upcoming album. 😀 Symphonic Metal reminds me of Wagner more than classic rock. #painintheask After Forever - Eccentric live from Pinkpop 2004
#Amaranth the official video. Regardless to what the Annette haters say, it’s important to experience all three singers. Only then can you truly see how Nightwish evoked and why Floor is the best match to date. Annette had a great studio rock/pop voice but not as exciting live.
Studio doesn’t matter because you can arguably say that commercially Annette was more successful. I was not a fan of her, but her songs had way more radio play outside of Tarja’s version on Nemo.
@TheBlackiwid No, that's not right. I read in an article, that Tuomas Holopainen gave Pip Williams [who arranged, orchestrated and directed the orchestra and choirs] secretly demos of Anette Olzon to listen to...and Williams praised Anette Olzon's *crystal-clear* voice. In the studio-recordings her voice was so much better, because she didn't had to sing "against" all the loudness of the amplified instruments. That's the difference to Floor Jansen. Floor is an allround-talent....not only she's over the top in the studio-production....she's also this half-wild & half-angelic amazon warrior princess live on stage with that incredible voice range. If you don't have any studio-versions of the "Dark Passion Play" and the "Imaginaerum"-album and only saw just 1 or 2 *unofficial* [I haven't seen one with a tolerable sound-quality] live-vidclips of Nightwish with Anette , I think you really can't judge her voice.
What should i say?Nightwish is always amazing and Floor is my all time Love ;) .... see THE ISLANDER LIVE ,the almost SOLO Song of Marco.Such an amazing male voice....
Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish maestro ) did his own music between Nightwish albums. Im begging you to check out A lifetime of adventure ,this with his wife on vocals. A beautiful song that will stay in your head for days. #PaininTheAsk
Love your reaction 😍 would love to see you react to kiss while your lips are stil red live at wembley and my walden live at tampere. You both are emotional and i think those will hit your sweet spot 👍 first one made me tear up. The second one made me smile and made my day just alot better 😁 both are amazing and perfect for you two 🤗
#painintheask For all the haters Halestorm feat. Slash Here's to us Halestorm Uncomfortable Did I mention Lzzy Hale the lead vocalist also plays guitar and sometimes bass or piano as well !😎😲🤘
Ok Rich, here's some constructive criticism for you. The Germans pronounce their W's like a V so it's pronounced Vacken. The way you say it sounds like it might as well be wanker. Any who.... it seems like you have a very large sweet spot when it comes to Metal music which is awesome, so do I. Keep doin' what you're doin'. You guys are hitting your stride. \m/
This is the point in history where Tuomas outgrew Tarja. He did write great stuff for Tarja to sing, but this is the point where Tarja could not follow his vision. Floor can.
Hi both hope u well ive subscribed .i love nightwish and maiden .please please review bruce dickinson and tribuzy song called tears of the dragon ul love it wow
Good afternoon friends. I am male but today is my birthday so if you don't mind, I'd like to pull a #MetalChickPick and suggest "Nightwish - Storytime (Live Wacken 2013)". It's an upbeat and happy song I think you'll both love it!! Thank you
That was awesome Kel.. Saw Kiss back in the '70's in Houston. NW is Kiss, Metallica and Abba all rolled into one with a genius composing the music. Still not sure what genre (s) they fall in. I think they have carved out there own niche and created their own genre: Ultimate Metal. Say it again...the is the most impressive sound these old ears have heard. Can't wait until the new album release and US tour to hopefully follow.
Hello, its me again. 😁. Time to recommend a few new things. Ensiferum are an awesome band (viking metal)and I think their Lai Lai Hei song is a great way to get into them. Also, and you will have to trust me on this, Rotting Christ, ( called black metal but they are so much more) and the sons of hell. Despite their dodgy monicker, they have an unbelievable repertoire of kick arse songs. #painintheask. #painintheuk
Considering who Stephen Colbert is, that’s a darn find complement TQ. No relation, but man, he is one smart funny guy that I totally respect. Like him or not, he is a good entertainer and a very fine man from what I’ve seen of him outside of his show. Thank you so much for that positive mention.
