A nice game in London system, Sarin trying with e3 (rather going d5 line) against c5, sticking with plan against Qb6 and finishing with smiling gesture..A future gem
He should have been 14 years old playing against the guy who is currently world number 4 and has a positive record with Mangus Carlsen and still he made Ian work his ass off for the win. Dude I mean come on. Make some logical statements. They should have at least 150 plus elo points between them.
Ian won a rather lost position, but after 5:23 (when White played Bf3), he should have played ...f5! (with the idea of Ne4). Otherwise, his Q on a8 is sort of stuck guarding d5 (which is rather pathetic).
the blunder was much before that when Black played 34....Ne8 and missed that White can play 35.Nxd5...after Bxh4 White has a tough defense and does not find the accurate Re2....this game is from round 18.
@@manasjoshi9051 Its already a checkmate ...Queen is at h5 guarding g4 and f5 square. Knight blocking the entire 7th row. And bishop guarding the d6 square. King has nowhere to go.
Nihal didn't lose, it was drawn as if you see that while giving check to Nihal by Queen, Nihal would have put his pawn one step forward. Which means it is a draw.
That's ride and immature. Ian has beat magnus a few times. Magnus is a better player that's all. Just because the Indian kid lost you don't have to fire against the Russians for your ego purposes. Anyone plays to win. Cheer
