But "connections" are inside of a working space, so even if you get position/contract despite not being the most competent - you are still suitable for a job. With nepotism - no one cares, you can be unironically braindead. And actually - no one gives a F about nepotism until it is hurtful. Almost always nepotism investigations are triggered by person in question being very dumb. "Almost" - because sometimes it is used as a weapon, even when person in question is OK.

I think it tends more to networking. It's not like Okayu and Korone are anything close to bad streamers, so if you know someone who will provide a boost to your company as well as the person itself, it's always welcome.

Fubuki was by all means what kept Hololive alive in their struggling early days. She was Hololive’s first successful talent outside of Sora, and her immense popularity on Bilibili opened up foreign markets outside of Japan.

That actually reminded me of the time when Marine and Shion had a sleepover and they overslept their scheduled stream by 4 hours and Fubuki jumped on stream to entertain the audience until they woke up. It was a very memeable stream. I just remember Fubu chan calling them hags as she counted how long it would take until they woke up.

Calling Wilson a POS might be a bit overkill but Niji sure does not do well with confrontation wether it be big or small.

Nepo is only good if the other procedures are respected. A Nepo recommendation should AT MOST be a strong recommendation about the benefited's being up to task for the position/Job, but the weight of responsibility should also be upheld to whoever made the nepo recommendation (If they hire and months in the hired person causes a major problem, some heavy blame must fall to whoever made the recommendation). Nepohires only work if the business is small, or there's adequate procedures for such hires (like said above, a nepo hire must put some weight on who made the push to have it happen, so the Nepohire is actually competent instead of a pure nepo)

Nepo hires was and is the natural way to get hired in most places on earth, the biggest problem is as stated the competence of the hire.

This time it was not intentional, Gura didn't even schedule the stream, she just posted on X that it was fish time. I honestly think that Gura wouldn't bother herself with Nijisanji, she just wants to do her thing. The ones that maybe have some hate against NijiEN are Kiara and Mumei, but even then I don't think that's the case.

Them terminated Zaion was the start of their downwards spiral. Selen's termination was the last straw.

Zaion was the first Major crack, one most misjudged as being a minor one. But 2023 from the start (Perhaps December of 2022 even) was when constant Yabs piled up at a speed that SHOULD have worried anyone doing Content related to Vtubing industry (News, Internet Historians and Documentary type videos), because you don't get nonstop Yabs coming left right and center to dogpile on one specific group or Business without it needing preventive eyes analyzing the trends of said Yabs. Selen/Doki was more Niji painting themselves in a corner, with their own Minefield instead of paint, and then when the Doki situation came knocking, the only way out was gamble on walking through that very minefield knowing full well that the moment they trigger one landmine, a whole ass chain of them will detonate in sequence, and then they roll a Nat 1 on the very first step. Zaion was the crack that began causing the pressure to damage the Niji EN central Pillar, Doki was Niji themselves setting off demolition charges on said Pillar in the belief that all it would do is remove a rotten or severely damage auxiliary pillar.

(well, noone knows the true story wether Mio asked FBK to scout her, or FBK herself decided to scout Mio, but technically speaking as talent and employee, FBK was the one who scouted her into the company) Then FBK pitched the idea to create Gamers cuz Mio can't join the already established gen 2. Then later both of them scout Okayu and Korone.

I think it was Mio who scouted Korone, who then brought in Okayu because the two are close (obviously). Hence why Korone said that she was really nervous when she met Fubuki for the first time (source: recent stream/interview with Subaru)

Going to be honest. Besides Selen, Rosemi, Mika and Pomu I didn't watch much of Nijisanji. Well actually I watched alittle of Shu too but really that was it. None of the other members really interested me in EN and some of their banter felt forced at times.

Or get burnout because Niji's system is unhelpful. Elira being good (shadow) manager will probably delay the inevitable but with most of her reputation and fan base intact. There are niji KR, ID, and maybe JP talents who quit due to managements.

Korone literally was made a member without even applying. I don't think she has ever met or talked with Yagoo before either but her addition is probably the best decision they ever made. Such a legendary streamer she has become. Stamina, Charisma, sense of humor and her creativity is breathtaking.
