Such a professional review! Thanks for giving a solid explanation of the dual density midsole effect…highly underrated channel by the way, at least looking at the subscribers
Thanks! I"m going back and forth between the Nike Pegasus 38 and the Saucony Guide 14 or Hurricane 23. Would you have any suggestion for a 200+ pound flatfooted runner? I run primarily for fitness, but can see fitting in an occasional 5 to 10k run, every now and again. Also, I've heard that the Pegasus is designed more for mid to higher arches. True? Thanks.
Thank you! Finally someone can explain that weird underfoot feeling! I noticed it after my first long run in the Peg 38s (21km) and again last week when I did a 12km run.
Your explanation of the forefoot experience in the Pegasus 38 is helpful in explaining why I didn't get along with the Pegasus Turbo; the forefoot just didn't work for me, even though I had no issues with the Epic React. Recently, I dusted off the Pegasus 34 which I used to hate and they seem to be working fine for me now. I remembered at the time people having issues with the air pods but I didn't, it was just an issue with the fit.
Thank you for your review. If I'm not mistaken, the women's version has lower pressured air pods, so maybe these would be a better fit, although they might have a higher drop.
Much more stable than novablast. Similar type of foam feel, but more smooth than bouncy like in novablast. The novablast 2 and Peg 38 are comparable, actually, in bounciness and ride, with the Novablast 2 being more cushioned underneath and more bouncy...but they are in the same family.
