Since they're both basically the same style, my main issue between the 39 and 40 is the color choices. The selection of colors for the 40 are a bit too obnoxious for me. Unless I'm running to twerk at a pride parade, I'll stick with the 39.

after a month with Pegasus40 I can say that I do not recommend them, very warm and sweaty, noisy, also too much movement in the heel
