Routine actually makes me happy. The fact that I can wake up, make a coffee, turn on the sprinklers, take the dog outside, and watch RU-vid videos before 8am, makes me happy.

Don’t know why. We’re not the same player type at all (I’m a 6’2” 200lb slasher that can throw down pretty easily). Maybe God made our feet on the same last or something. Whatever the case, it’s been over 10years of reliable, fun, nostalgic content and I couldn’t say thank you enough.

It feels like this ad almost builds upon the video you made about Nike dropping the ball, and I’m all for calling them out. Great review as always.
Awesome review! As a fellow older hooper, I had a lot of hope these would work for me, but they were not for me. Finally Sabrina sneakers accommodated my wider foot, but the cushioning was very mediocre for my size (6’0 and 205lbs) and my left Achilles started burning the days after playing in these. Switched to the nxxt and kd16 and have been pain free since. Awesome review! 🎉
I love what they are doing with Sabrina’s shoes. Nothing gimmicky, straight to the point and clean. It’s a little disappointing to hear about the cushion though….right when you mentioned dead, I instantly was brought back to your 1st gen React review…with the Jumpman Superfly. It’s so great to see the ladies finally getting great performers…AGAIN!!! Why it disappeared for a long while is beyond me since they have not stopped playing bball. As for the question of the day…it’s good FOOD for me! I’ve been wearing Kobe 5’s (the original) for like 15 years. Bought 3 pairs way back in the day. Went through those and then started buying used ones on eBay for like $80-100. Just ordered some this morning, can’t wait!

Great vid!! I love that it's super firm and lockdown is good but I noped out of wanting to buy it when I saw the 'weird pointy shape' part cuz my feet are slightly wider. Damn shame.

Definitely interested in these, even though they're Kobe clones. I'm sort of a NY Liberty fan, kind of interested in the purple CW rn. I am concerned the toe box is going to be tight as hell though.

Love these Sabrina's. Definite improvement from the 1 on court. 2 big concerns from playing 5x already in them. 1. Quality 2. Durability Day 1 they dyed my white socks purple. Not terrible and it mostly came out in the wash Day 3 the purple rubber outside of the pinky toe area started to separate badly. I'm sending them back and will try another color in the future releases.
Agree with both of you about what makes me happy. My people and my hobbies are my favorites. But getting a coffee is such a simple thing but fills me with happiness, especially if it’s a random (or planned) “wanna get coffee”?
When I get home from work and my dog's wagging her tail so much that her whole body is almost shaking, that's one of those little things that makes me happy every single day, no matter how hard a day it might've been. It's an immediate boost.
Oh man, folks in the comments saying the Nike By You for the Sabrina 2s is live! Bout to make to a few designs on these! Things that make me happy (there's a ton but just two for now): good food and great music, whether it's a classic album or new, I can get lost in it for hours.
I would say is a good thing they bring this to the market because Kobes is so hard to get these days and this is more easier to get this for those that really wants Kobes

I love your show. But please do this 😂😂😂. In the Philippines if the resellers saw a nike shoe that is hyped they will hoard everything and sell it double or sometimes triple the price. That's why most of us users switched to China brands which is also a blessing in disguised. Fan of nike until i used anta.
This might be the shoe for me, I loved the Kobe 5 but i had an issue what i dont think i've seen anyone else report. There was a section cut out of the rubber sole to save on weight, when I planted my heel I would occasionally just slip and get no grip because it was only the midsole connecting with the floor.

Bruh same assessment - Althought im heavy footed so I prob felt the cushlon compression a little bit more - but felt like I didn't have shoes on. Yeah also the interior starting to wrinle
the tongue of the shoe has an angle on the side edge that just cuts into my foot/front ankle! Would’ve loved this model otherwise, but I will be returning :(
Why is it that in a lot of recent Nike signature shoes that they’ve gone away from flyknit uppers? That was a HUGE forward progression with basketball shoes, but it seems like they’ve gone away from it.
From Nike has lost its way to some pretty fire performance signature shoes. I think the Nike issue is having a portfolio of shoes out there, they can’t all be beast performers, but they want to leverage the ‘brand’ of popular athletes, so some signature shoes aren’t what we think signature should be. We just gotta reset expectations, and remember that when people are being paid for their name/endorsement tread carefully (pun intended)
So what I took away from this review was, go buy more Sabrina 1s, especially at 80-90 bucks! Sabrina 2s, I’ll see you when you at < $100. 😉 QotD: In addition to all the EXACT same things Chris listed, I’d say my Shiba Inu; love that little fur nugget.🐕
Yes, add 1.5 to get your mens size. I'm a size 9 in US Men and I have to add 1.5 to women's sizing making it a 10.5 in US Wmn. Although the Width will be a bit tighter so it's always best to try on
