..notre glorieuse boxeuse..
Seeing the comments here, people are understandably confused: it needs to be clarified that, as far as I know, Nikki was born a woman. This is not a Lia Thomas situation. I am 100% against men « transitioning » into women’s sports, and thankfully this is not one of those cases. As far as I understand, Nikki doesn’t identify as either male or female, but she does not have the biological advantages of a man. She does not deserve the hate.
Exactly this is fair. People don't listen or read apparently. It's a biological female participating against other females. This they/them stuff is nonsense to me but to each their own.
Born a dude, who’s transgender, but identifies as they/them but is actually non binary and likes to date woman but is not a lesbian and actually just neutral. Wait what? Lmao
Agree. And ‘them’ as a third person plural, meaning all the clowns that promote this stuff. Rather than ‘them’, being the drivel singular usage for attention seekers like Hiltz. See how confusing language gets when you accommodate fools.
@@basicallysophie7239 it does matter the gender, a man shouldn’t compete against women. This person is a woman, if they don’t think they are then go compete against the men but they won’t because they know they don’t stand a chance. Stop allowing this sort of behaviour it’s not normal
Because the far right bible thumpers in the US were adamant about their hatred, so only XX race against XX. Since we see an XX won, why are the far right going nutters over this too? You can't win with these uneducated fools.
That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. I have no issue with them, but the federation punishes other athletes for high testosterone levels. Goodbye level playing field.
I think she said that she was assigned female at birth and if so and she didn't do steroids or hormonal therapy then I am fine with it. Please tell me if she was born xx or xy. Hard to dig up facts on this. Either way, "them" doesn't work for me.
You aren't assigned anything at birth. You are born and your gender/biological sex is observed as a natural phenomena. Nobody assigned you anything, other than your genetic structure.
@@wgcds7jyg897There are plenty of trans men competing at varying levels in men’s sports, but there’s not really a reason to make a news story about all of them
if if guys notice that Nikki is a male bc Nikki has one pice outfit on and the others have two piece outfits on but did a different trans person try to go to Olympics but didn’t bc that person is a trans and is also a runner
Castor Semenya born and raised female is disqualified by IOC for having a high testosterone level and so are many naturally born African female athletes but an American male by birth that chooses to be a female is allowed to take part in this game! Justice in Erewhon
I think it's a girl who thinks she's a guy ( trans ) but also doesn't think she is either sex ( non-binary ). Does that make sense to you? Because it doesn't to me.
I heard it was a woman who claims to be trans but also claims to be non-binary which means that person doesn't identify as a male or female which would mean they can't be a trans man and that they aren't identifying as a human I guess so maybe they are identifying as an animal but if that's true then they shouldn't be competing in a race against human females...
@@dsgham74 So what's the point of gender? It doesn't make any sense to say I'm this gender because I said so regardless of what biological sex I am. That never happens anywhere else. You never hear a 400 pound person say I'm biologically fat but I identify as slim because weight and size are different.
@@cosmo9390 So you thought that a 200 lb person wrestled with the 120 lb group??? Seriously??? And what are you upset that an XX raced against other XXs and won? Isn't this what the far right was crying about? You get what you want then cry more. Bunch of uneducated babies.
@@boootybounce420are u retarded lmao they wouldn’t let any biological woman race if they had abnormal amounts of testosterone or a performance enhancer. actually, two kenyan biological women were taken out of the world athletics because they had naturally high testosterone. WADA doesn’t let anything pass by them.
@katiejon17 yes, she is a biological female. I'm just as confused as you are and no one can explain in detail. I'm guessing that she transitioned to a non-binary🤷♂️....
@@Erin____ Not really...go look at men times vs women times on ANY event and try to make an argument that it's fair men and women compete. I'm sure you're super excited to watch every last female record get shattered by men...disgusting time we are living in.

no. not happy at his participation, not happy with his 'win'. Congratulations to all the women who shunned him after the race. Yes, he should go. Go away. He should compete against other men.
@@DavidStewart-v5eit's a woman dude. Just one of those people who use made up terms like non binary. This a female competing against females. If it was a dude I would be thinking the same thing.
@@DavidStewart-v5ewhy? By your insistence there are only two genders, and by your definition of those genders, Hiltz is female. Do what clown response do you have now? You’re kinda backed into a corner.
was there ever any doubt, men are far superior in athletics, even with hormones and stuff, we will still win easily. Just watch the last lap, one cruise control, and just went around everyone easily and won bc men sprint faster than women.
So a dude won? It’s hard to understand who/why is running when they don’t say I’m a woman but a they/them who’s a trans. You’re a dude running as a chick? No? So you’re a woman who’s running as a woman? Then why not just say that? Or just a woman who thinks she’s a dude but is actually a woman? A dude won. But at least he got everyone else fast times.
She didn’t loose to a man but to a person that thinks she is neither ( should I have said she). I do find it ridiculous that she has the audacity to say she does not identify as a woman , but races in a woman’s event.
@@brettsmith9112 Yes it's a little strange that they don't identify as female but want to compete in the female division. You would think they wouldn't want to do that.
Sucks so much to work so hard and have it snatched like this by someone that has t even decided who they want to be I the world. If you can identify as a woman then how can you compete against them.
Serious question: If Nikki Hiltz doesn't identify as a woman, why is "they" (yes I'm actually saying "why IS they" because this pronoun nonsense is forcing me to mix up singular and plural) allowed to compete in the women's category?
"they" has been used as a singular pronoun longer than it has been used as a plural pronoun. They compete in the women's category because they're biologically female
@@chloesmith5142 So? We don't get to simply redefine the rules and the world simply because it's inconvenient for us or we're "uncomfortable" with it. If I'm "uncomfortable" with the actions of the US government, I don't simply get to renounce my citizenship while retaining all the rights and benefits of that citizenship. I don't get to narcissistically demand the world never refer to me as "American", and must instead use some replacement word of my choosing (which may change at any moment), because being called "American" upsets my sensibilities. I also don't get to tell border agents that "I don't feel comfortable with my country so I refuse to use my US passport, you'll just have to take my personally issued documentation and accept my word at face value." This would be obvious nonsense. Conversely, if I'm not American, I don't simply get to "identify" as an American and instantly receive the rights & privileges of American citizenship. I want to make it clear I don't CARE what Nikki does or how Nikki feels. Nikki can do whatever Nikki likes. But people like Nikki are MAKING this an issue by demanding that the rest of us accommodate their whims on how to use language itself. If you compete in the women's category, you are a woman, and everyone will REFER to you as a woman. If you actively do not identify as a woman and you demand that the whole world refer to you as a non-woman, then you don't get to compete in the women's category. You cannot have it both ways. I'm so tired of people feeling entitled to demand that the entire world cater to their whims. Are we all supposed to walk around with notebooks, scribbling down reminders of precisely how every single person on Earth "identifies" and what personally-engineered language we're supposed to use for this or that person? It's all so much narcissistic entitlement under the guise of "inclusion".
@@regolith1350Well, that escalated quickly. You asked a question and I answered it. The Olympic game categories are based on biological sex, as they should be. For context, I do not agree with transwomen competing in the women’s category (Lia Thomas situation) as they undoubtedly have a biological advantage, even after hormone treatment. This has been scientifically proven. The pronouns that someone chooses to use (their gender identity) has no effect on the category that they compete in. Nikki is biologically a woman, therefore can compete in the woman’s category. Identifying as non-binary literally has no effect on that. I am not an American citizen so I have no opinion on that.
It's a woman. Like a biological woman. She just calls herself non binary and uses they/them. One of those looney toons. Has a real vagina and all the parts. I don't have a problem with this. If this were some dude calling himself a woman I would be in your camp on this 100%.
Nikki is a biological female, isn’t taking hormones, and goes by they them pronouns. Whether you agree with they/them pronouns or not, there’s nothing controversial about Nikki competing in the women’s 1500.
This is a slap in the face to female runners. This dude is claiming nonbinary, which means he is neither gender but yet he is able to compete against women? Seems like this dude was able to pick the difficulty in this game and he chose easy mode lol
Nikki Hiltz was born as biological female and gets no hormone treatment to change their sex. So why does their pronoun, haircut or life style bother you?
Yes, them, one of the pronouns commonly used in the English language. Do you need a refresher with rudimentary grammar rules because I don’t understand your confusion when they teach this to fifth graders…unless you’re one of the 9 year old unparented ipad kids, that is.
Who’s the man? Even if you disagree with gender issues, by your own definition of gender Hiltz is a female. Did you just come in not knowing what you were talking about and spouting nonsense, or are you trolling for attention?
