Best tutorial on the web for beginners, the technically impaired or those of us who have a hard time reading instructions of which I am all three. Found out how to use my new P1000 more in thirty minutes here than after spending hours with the included instructions. Thank you so much!
Excellent Video. Wonder Why These Camera Companies with Legions of Marketing/Sales people can't come up with even half as decent. Thank you Sir, Appreciate your hard work in creating this and sharing for the newbies.
Thank you so much for your guidance. I have had so much trouble trying to figure out the little things that apparently they think you should automatically know and understand. You have helped me master my video and playback options. I can't say thank you enough! Thank you
Helped me a lot thanks dude. My only suggestion is to perhaps (it annoys me when people ask me to do it but it's is helpful for people looking for specific points) timestamp your segments if possible and post them in description and comments.
@@JRESHOW how do you access the AF S and full time option? Because no matter what mode im in it's always greyed out and i have to use the ring to focus, even in auto mode.
TODAH brother, I'm impressed with your presentation! I'm currently awaiting my new p1000 in the mail, and very happy that I found this video by you before I get my hands on one. I'm excited to for this camera! Keep up the great work brother!
Thank you so much ! I been waiting for someone to come out with a video for this camera. This actually is my first camera. I had a couple of awesome shots that i missed due to not really knowing how to work properly.
THANK YOU! I just bought this camera and cannot find out how to use it. Not even through Nikon. Insane that Nikon doesn’t have better instructions/info. You helped me figure it out! Thank you!
Great video. I had this camera for 3years now and only now with this video some of the controls became clear to me! I went through the manual a few times at the beginning: a very frustrating experience
Now look what you went and did. Just checking out P1000 videos to help a friend and now I want a new camera. And it's all your fault. Hope you are happy with yourself. Now comes the tricky bit of paying for it. You're a good teacher.
Really helpful-especially about the scene mode. I have been using a Canon Rebel for years taking great shots off of the back of a motorcycle, using the sports mode. I was really worried when I bought the Nikon, and saw no sports setting on the top dial. I know now that I can get to the sports setting through the scene mode. Thanks!
@@SangheiliSpecOp lol I'm just the same, I've had my 1000 for 3 months and last night was first time I've actually managed to take a pic of Jupiter and Saturn inc rings lol but the learning process is the fun part, unless your me of course as after taking pics of said planet's you turn around and see your wife filming your reaction (which was shouting "I've only bloody gone and sussed it" while waving arms around) and then posts video to facebook lol lol
What I originally was looking for was how to get into the main menu because I needed to change my time and couldn't figure out how to get there. When you were talking about the eye sensor I was able to see how to get there. And bonus for me was being able to turn off the toggle for the eye sensor. I have been taking night shots in the cold and using a heater on my lens so it doesn't fog up, but the eye sensor was fogging up so it would shut off the screen. Now that I can turn that toggle off that should solve the problem.
I should get my camera in about 4 days and will need to watch this video several times after I get some education about what some of the settings are for, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc. Yes I'm a rank novice but I'm not nearly as dumb as my kids think I am so I can learn this. This video should be a great help.
have you thought of doing a video on tripods for this beast. i just bought one and I really need a tripod and I don't have the extra money to make tripod mistakes, I really enjoy your video you have a nice way of teaching, I really have learned so much from you Thanks
If you want good photos with this camera look up Stafford Fuhs. He'll show you how to properly set some of these settings to make the photos crisp. Especially for wildlife photography.
