Mine was delivered two days ago and it's impressive. So far I have used it on a Nikon 18-200mm, sigma 17-50mm and a tamron 100-400mm, all first class, virtually no difference to their performance on my d7200 and although it's early days (and lockdowned) I suspect that the Fuji magic actually produces better images from them. I was using an x-t2 for my trials, probably even better on a more modern body. Additionally the stabilisation on all 3 lenses worked superbly, the limits I managed to reach were 1/125 with the tamron at 400mm and 1/6 with the sigma at 50mm... both handheld. Now I just need them to optimise it for the excellent tokina 100mm f2.8!
Put me down for one. Picked up an X-T3 recently (dipping the toe into mirrorless, and still waiting for Nikon to make a serious mirrorless body) Anyway I would love to use my 70-200 f2.8 and 300 f2.8 on the X-T3.
It's unrealistic to expect two versions, but it would be nice to have it without that extension at the bottom, like FTZ. That seems to house aparture mechanisms for non E lenses.
hi. i came across this vlog and i have a question. i tried to read forums but people say different things. if i have a nikon g mount 35mm lens with autofocus, and i want to use that still on fuji xt20 let's say, i would definitely need a lens adaptor for that one right. will the autofocus function of the lens still work? thanks!
Would this adapter work with nikon 80-400mm f5.6 VRII lens on the fuji xh1 body? I have both the fuji 100-400mm f5.6 and the nikon AFS 80-400mm f5.6 VRII and the nikon is optically clearly better. The Nikon lens is really sharp at 400mm f5.6. The AF of the Nikon lens is also much faster compared to the Fuji lens. That's why I would like to use the nikon lens on my fuji. I am going to sell my nikon gear, and would like to keep the nikon 80-400 mm.
Did you end up getting a Fuji body and use it with the Nikon 80-400 via the Fringer? Wanting to know because I'm thinking about the XT-4 / 80-400 combo. Thanks
