Well it's a matter of taste i mean from their 95 ep until annihilation of the wicked they had constant evolution really but it's true each new album sounds like annihilation part 2, 3 pretty much but i guess they've found their style in a way and as for kollias for me not only his tecniques and stamina but also his impact on the whole scene i put him in the top 3 of all time(extrem drumming) with sandoval and hoglan
It's been awesome to see so much of your progression since some of your earlier videos. Still crushing it David, phenomenal cover! And cheers for being one of few drummers who consistently stays clean using all one-foot blast beats.
Man that's world class shit my man! Awesome cover. I tried to catch a hiccup, but couldn't do it lol. Them tom rolls are crisp and loud. Well so is your foot work and symbol action too. A+ on a seriously tough cover! How many tries did it take you😉
@@AnestisStaikos you can see that there is only 2 plugs going into the module. if the toms were triggered, there would be 8 plugs going into the module. the toms are not triggered in this video
Keep putting up these videos! Your drumming is so clean when I watch them on a regular basis I dont have to buy/use Q-tips anymore! Seriously absolutely impressive! Btw, love that you put up the Drums only Versions! Looking forward to more madness! Cheers, Hannes
Lefty that learned drums right handed? You never look left and the only concern is your right.. Crazy how easily you can switch the blast beat, have watched this multiple times over the years but still manages to blow my mind.
This is what I wake up to, and listen to goto sleep..nit that it sucks it pretty fucking amazing i listen to his stuff everyday. Keep it up, JFAC or TTEOTD woukd be awesome
I will never, ever, get sick of this, because this is as good as it gets. Hands down best ‘drums only’ ever (followed by Simon Schilling’s MEINL jam). Edit : Can we just take a moment of incredulity to appreciate this drum track by George Kollias?
you are by far the most Talented drummer out there. biggest respect. wish i could play like you. are you a music student or some thing like that? or is this what you Do for a living? man you are just Incredible!
WOW David, what an incredible drummer you are Sir. Some of the tightest drumming I'v heard since the wonderful Reno Killerich, who you actually look like a bit :) keep up the wonderful work. much love
A whole song of blast beats? Very amazing drumming! I still don't know how to stick that fast and steady. I guess that you have had to start very young to be able to learn that speed.
that's totally insane man! shoot, it makes me so jealous -_- you get every single thing. skills, power, your drum kit etc. well done man (y)

wow! woooooooooooooooooooow! you are an amazing drummer!!! i don't know a lot of english so " nunca vi a un baterista con tanta perfección y que sea constante, me sorprendés en cada video! seguí así!!! " greetings from argentina! \m/
Very good drumming, man. One of the few who can cover george kollias. It would be nice to see you play Symbolic from Death, one of the most technical drums on the death metal genre. Cheers and congrats.
+FutileExistence definitely not the fastest, but very complicated. not everything has to be as fast as humanly possible to be extremely complex dummy. take "secret face" by death. its one of the most crushing songs ive ever heard on drums. and its not the fastest song at all, but the technicality, groove, polyrythms, ghost notes, and accents are impeccable. if you knew anything about drums, youd know how hard it is to play a song like symbolic or any song by death really.
Aaron Duckett Who said I even brought up speed you twit? I said that because it's not the most technical or intricate drumming piece I've heard by a long margin. Yes, the piece is complicated but I've heard more complex pieces by the likes of Ulcerate, Gorguts, Absu, Cryptopsy, Lykathea Aflame, Animals as Leaders (not exactly metal but related), etc. Gene Hoglan is actually one of my favorite drummers out there due to his precision, technicality and general tastiness. But the reason I made the statement I made was because it was obvious he hasn't heard much metal, so I would appreciate it if you didn't misrepresent me thanks.
the only other dude on this level that I'm aware of is Jan Benkowitz he does insane covers of Nile very well. .actually there are quite a few dudes out there on that level George Kollias the first I saw with the slide technique on the pedals many year's ago got his DVD Ken Bendene krimh and many many other's the bar on speed I would say is insane today when I was 17 Tommy Aldridge was killing it that was the 70's Carmine as well that was then. This is now 😂
Aside from the fact that your fucking awesome as shit bro, I love the way your drums sound. That snare is so snappy with a great pop, but it it still has such a nice deep sound to it. Fucking shredder. I wish you could play drums for me! I'm gonna get money and hit you up to lay down some tracks!!!
Is it possible to have a slow version please ;) More seriously, it is fucking perfect. You really moved me even if I don't like this kind of music and drumming! You don't have a lot of things to learn from M.Kollias anymore. Keep drumming! :)
Dude! This is awesome! Really! What is your recipe for fast feet/hands? Pushing to high tempos or singles in slower tempo for longer period of time? Cheers from Poland. Konrad.
