@@iEemeeeCanonically, Bal is the best swordsman in the entire movie because he was a peasant and any mistake, no matter how small, could get him dismissed so he spared no time training. No one: while Nimona was transforming non-stop, Bal was soloing twenty guys!
I love how the two just walk out so casually after tricking the Director into doing a Batman-villain monologue and making her think she'd killed off the last loose end. Her face, just...HER FACE!

this!!!! THIS!!!! This is how you do representation in media, you don't need to give us someone who, thats all they offer as a character and two don't try to reinvent those that came before, give us something new, something amazing, something...fresh, give us Nimona and and Ballister!!!! don't try to reinvent what i grew up with and loved, don't try to make the story about it, just give me some amazing characters that i fall in love with!!!!! story telling is an art that's been forgotten as media listens to the loudest internet media voices, what we needed was a great story..great characters not trying to take the old and make it something that it never was but saying "ok well let me tell you a story and make us all hang off in disbelief, that... i'm madly in love with, good story telling, this is how you do it all! this reinventing half + century old characters that is just fan fic and just like most fanfic no one wants to hear, it give us this new this fresh, this good $h!t
Especially when she uses the rodent as a prop when she says; "Screams of terror," and drops it onto her shoulder before looking back at Ballister. The jump onto the wall and covering her mouth after knocking the cans around is almost perfect
