Renn same here. Sorry for your loss. I lost my mum last year. They say you will heal but you never do. You will learn how to live with the pain and keeping one part of your heart closed and empty. But one day she will be waiting for you at the end of your journey. Keep smiling because that what you mum wants. XO

Just amazing Nina, your relatable lyrics always hit home but never more so than on this record. I spent Christmas 2019 in hospital basically watching my mum die of cancer and it was and still is the most painful experience of my life. All the words in this song sum up how I felt then and how I still do now. Thank you for the recognition of how painful life can be when you lose the person you love the most. Incredible song.! One of your bets yet. ❤️🔥xx

I can't believe it. I just talked to my mum for the first time in 3 years, cuz I wasn't ready before, about all the pain, sorrow and my grief for losing in these 3 years my dad, both grandmothers and distant uncle. We talked for 5 hours until I told her everything its 4 AM here in Slovakia I was going to sleep but something pull me here and I thank you so much Nina it's all I needed to hear 🥺🥰

I really hope she returns to the sound of the first album one day. Back then she really had her own sound. The more uptempo songs made her stick out more than the interchangeable ballads she produced since then.

@@marieceline3502 18 Candles is my favourite, followed by the title track and Mr C. And I love the bonus tracks from the deluxe version as well, especially Brit Summer, Don't Stop and The Apple Tree. She had something charming going on with her sound in her early days I'm missing now.

This song will be on repeat, idk but it justs makes me feel so much connected to my emotions rn after losing him, like how I couldn't feel anything at first and then an outburst of emotions just took over, then I went numb, then feeling everything again and then finally broke from the toxic cycle and now I'm just grieving and lonely in this feeling, it's so hard. 💔 But thank you Nina for this song, exactly what I needed.

I met this person, he was an angel and treated me so well. On the day he asked me out, I told him To wait 3 days for my answer. But suddenly he soon passed away. And I couldn’t answer his question. God took a good person away from this world. But meeting taught me that someone who truly likes you will do anything in their power to just see you smile and laugh. It's been 7 months since my 6 years old little cousin died she is like my little sister and it hasn't been the same for me since. I am bawling my eyes out listening to this song. She is one of the person that makes me happy, whenever I come home from work she welcomes me with a hug and smile. I spoil her like she is my own sister I miss her so much. This is very painful for me, imagine if you were just left after 2 years of knowing each other, without any reasonable reason, just disappeared, i needed healing time until the day, i fell sick, i really feel it until now , it seems there is no need love someone very deeply, if your true love ends up not in the right person, hopefully i will recover soon !
